I have a 3G, I'm waiting for a case to make it look like a 4G. LOL![]()
I live in Belgium. Mobistar and Proximus here both sell the iPhone, unlocked and at full price (~600 EUR). I can't speak for Proximus, but Mobistar took till October 08 to properly bring the 3G to market, because they restricted supply to keep it 'interesting', plus they spent time organising idiotic news stunts like this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/loneblackrider/sets/72157606098594351/ (the stunt happened in July, but the phone wasn't made available for most customers until Oct).
Let's just say that unlike Apple, they're not customer-centric.
They're giving 'em away Down Under?
.and besides... the back will be touch sensitive...
Please, not that design... it was too clunkyI'm complaining this much because I'm about to buy a new iphone and thought the latest to be worth saving for....
How can they make a case without having a new iPhone![]()
How could you possibly think it's not? That's ridiculous.
There will be no touch-enabled back with this new iPhone. These cases will be useless - with a touch enabled back.
I thought the same thing when I got my first iPod touch. When I found myself occasionally dropping the thing, I caved in and bought a silicone case. It really aided in handling.Cases are so ugly and pointless. They make the phone larger and make it look generic. I can see CERTAIN circumstances when they could be used... but 80% are unneeded. People just buy into it, waste money.. and make their nice phone look like crap.
I hope Steve builds a RING Phone like the one on "Chuck" THAT would drive the GAWKER - VIET CONG axis into the special hell they deserve.
I'm in Japan. Here you pay for the phone over the 2-year contract term. If I continue using the same phone after that the monthly payment obviously drops by the amount of the instalment. Financially it's better to keep the same phone until it breaks.Well, there's no up front cost for iPhones. Just the cost of the phone service.
I thought iPhones were free in many countries, including the UK?!
