Activator update....any issues?

Don't know if it's related but I can't background Cydia anymore after update.

Had it set to hold down home button for (backgrounder) multitasking.

It is related. Activator won't work in programs that run as root, Cydia being one of them. It's not a good idea to background Cydia either, may run into issues later.

Then wait for activator 1.4.2, which should solve the issue by just ignoring the double tap lock button if it has nothing assigned to it.

I was on that original thread. 1.4.2 seems to fix the problem you had for me. It might not be as fast as stock but it does the right thing with maybe just a tiny lag no matter how fast you double press it.

Hi,

As I was writing this post, I fixed the issue I had after updating 1.4.2. It for some reason lock/unlocked the phone when I double pressed the power button. It was somehow assigned by itself. I love it now, everything works great. I dont see the lag as much, it works. I'm officially happy and will thank Ryan a million times. YAY :)

The only time I background is when I'm getting ready to install something and I want to check the compatability chart.
 
i dont want to start another thread since this is on the same topic, im on version 1.4.6, my slide in gesture does not work at all.

is this a problem for anyone? i looked at the changlog for 1.4.2 and it mentioned about fixing the slide gestures, not sure if its the same as the 'slide in gesture'.

so everyone's activator is working 100%?
 
Thinking of removing both because they are flaky and I do not really use either of them, has anyone done this at all ?
