I personally don't really mind... the key addition for me was being able to add events to the calendar. Now I'll just wait for 3rd party apps in early '08.

Same here. Ian not one for hacking the device, mainly for fear of it being bricked later if there was an update from Apple that I want.

So, say these 3rd party apps actually do come along..will they be added to the current iPod or will we need new hardware then?
