Hey Adobe.... It's Called Pixelmator a company who is getting closer to the same features found in your Bloated PoC software PS.

It's only $30 too.

You gotta do better then this Adobe.... but you won't and you'll be forced to strategize in a few years ....

Haha! Made me laugh. Now, I do think pixelmator is better than PSE. But, it is nowhere near PS. If you had to choose between PSE for $80 and pixelmator for $30, it is a no-brainer: pixelmator.

Cute Cat.... But I prefer Lions.

That cat is not cute anymore... I took that picture back in 2005 when she was about 3 months old. Do the math heh. Sorry, just not amused that the ex is using my pic to push adobe software. (She's a designer at adobe now).

I think Adobe is making a rather clever move here. Elements is the perfect app to test the waters of the Mac App Store. Out of all their apps, it has the widest appeal, and yet isn't their core money-maker. I can see it being fairly popular on the Mac App Store for casual everyday users who want to take things to the next level. !

I'll propose it's a "test" at another level - everyone who uses APE already has their copy of 9, getting it when it came out months ago. So this is kind of the hook to see if they could get new customers perhaps? If this were APE v10 I might go for it, but I have nice, so it's a non issue at the moment. Curious what their MAS sales will be.

Interesting the organizer isn't included. I have no need for it personally - but a similar kerfuffle was going on yesterday - BBEdit is now on MAS, but they had to hobble some of the features to get it there...
