That seems to be a good way to put it, but from what I've seen or heard, Final Cut Pro (X) is also popular for indie movies. It's also greatly evolved since it was originally released ten years ago, to the point where it can do just about everything Premiere Pro can do, and even the interface has gained a sleeker and more professional appearance. While I'll still use Premiere Pro for certain projects, Final Cut Pro is still my go-to software for making YouTube Poops.
