Advice: Have any guys here chosen the GOLD iPhone 8/8+?

Hey, I’m needing your advice. I’m thinking about purchasing a iPhone 8+ in Gold. The issue is my friend who’s a girl said she sees a pink hue. I see copper, beige or bronze when I stare at it.

My question is to any males here can a guy pull the gold off? And if you’re a guy and got the 8 did you get gold?

My girlfriend got one, she says it’s more pink than gold, but then I wear pink shirt & tie without hesitation, a colour can’t define who I am.

I got the gold 8, had the rose gold 7 and a gold 6s before that. No shame at all lol it’s a beautiful color, and in the case of the 8 it’s one of my favorite iPhone colors ever made.

Guy here. Ordered the Gold and wanted to love it, but just looked to feminine for me. The pinkish cream back is what bothered me. I didn’t mind the edge copper/gold look color. Exchanged mine for a silver over the weekend.

I did the opposite, I ordered the silver, and exchanged it for the Gold over the weekend. The Silver was a little boring for me, I really like the Gold/Copper band.

Honestly I don't care for a pinkish gold phone. My wife got one. Then again, I've only every gotten the black/ space gray colored phones.

I think it looks pinkish for sure, but there's nothing wrong with that, for a guy or anyone else. Personally, I don't care for it, but not because I think it looks feminine or whatever - just isn't my favorite color.

Guess what color 8 I bought. Gold. Because to me it's the best color this release and I like it the most. I think it's beautiful; especially when paired with a blue or saddle case. I got a blue case myself.

I also have an 8+ that I got in Space Grey, because, well, why not - I am considering trading it for a Gold 8+.

You get whatever color you want and rock the hell out of it man!

It’s a tad on the pink side (the metal), and the back is a more of a beige.

It’s nice, and not feminine at all? But it is more of a rose/blush gold vs last years gold.
