It's about the way one's been coded to think.
Many people believe pink is for girls and blue is for boys.
On the same train of thought we could go further. Why stop with colours?
iPhone for men? With design so nice, shiny, slick and thin I'd recommend for the OP phones like the Galaxy Xcover.
Either this or OP can get rid of all labels and prejudice and make his and others' lives a little bit happier. ️‍

As a man (or woman) the color phone that is suitable for you is the color phone that you want. It's simple as that.

I think it's more suspect to be worrying about how other interpret your color choice than the choice itself.

You can't trust the color anymore. You have to ...

I’m a guy. Got gold. I also have been known to wear pink dress shirts. I get flirted with more when I wear pink. Maybe the gold iPhone will have the same effect!
If I get one, it will be gold. I also wear pink or purple shirts occasionally and am happily married to my wife.

Don’t listen to what others say, or think, when it comes to the color of phone you use. Unless they pay for your phone bill, they should have zero influence on your color choice.

Hey, I’m needing your advice. I’m thinking about purchasing a iPhone 8+ in Gold. The issue is my friend who’s a girl said she sees a pink hue. I see copper, beige or bronze when I stare at it.

My question is to any males here can a guy pull the gold off? And if you’re a guy and got the 8 did you get gold?
[doublepost=1506807436][/doublepost]Sure, I had a gold 6+. I like the colour. Tho kind of moot point when you put a cover on it.

It’s weird that some people associate certain phone colours with genders. I have a space grey 8 and previously had a space grey 6S and I’m a female. Gold and rose gold look nice, sure, but I always go for the black front. I personally don’t think gold is girly, or space grey manly. Just get what you like.

I do LOVE the silver color, but if I go with an 8 Plus, I don't want white bezels again.

That’s why I went with space gray this year. Silver is my favorite iPhone color but I was over the white face. If they made a silver with a black face I would be all over it...if it wasn’t $1000!

To the OP...I have a space gray 8+ and I’m a woman. My phone color does not make me masculine by any means. What others think means nothing to me.

I think Apple needs to somehow incorporate this topic (diverse colors, diverse people) into their yearly keynotes so there’s no need for people to search the internet for validation. I’ve seen a commercial with a man using a rose gold but maybe Tim Cook needs to flat out say it for some to think it’s okay! LOL

Not this round, but I’ve had gold iPhones in the past. I don’t really feel that gold is not men’s color.

How does the gold colour compare to the 6S+ gold colour which is my current phone?
It isn’t gold, it changes colors under different lights, but the one color it never looks like is apple’s classic gold. Pink, peach, copper, blush, orange/creme, hint of violet, were all of the colors I saw. Definitely see one live before ordering.
