I will not be condescendingly lecturing you. You are not the only one who has expressed that concern. It gave me pause initially when I ordered my first white iPhone, the 5. But it really comes down to taste. Guys can get away with the black or white. But in a business setting, the black has a slight edge over the white when it comes to professionalism, in my opinion.

The white iPhones look amazing, I really like mine. That being said, for my 6 I ordered Space Gray because I think it looks cooler. I could have been happy with the white too, though. The colors are pretty gender neutral.

I've had the silver/white 5S since launch last year, first white iPhone, 3G was black and 5 was black, didn't care as much for space grey as the black black of the 5. Looks like space grey is the new black though, I might go back to it next upgrade. No one has ever questioned my manhood over my white iPhone though lol

I ordered both the silver and space grey versions because I couldn't decide. The more I compare, the more I think the silver is best. To be honest, I wish they offered silver with a black front. I only want black for practical reasons, as I believe it makes the screen more easy to read with less distraction, but I prefer the silver back.

If you want to hear something "girly", how about this: I think the silver with the "soft pink" case is by far the best looking combination. I ordered both the midnight blue and soft pink case so can decide later. The blue looks sweet against the white phone, but the pink is tops.

Yes, I am a man.

If you're that concerned about what others think about you and how having a certain colour iPhone will make you a girl, then you have big problems.

None of the colors are 'girly'.
Why do you care what others think of the color of your phone?
Most normal people wouldn't think twice of you based on the color of your phone.
