can you set how long the screen/backlight stays on? I've always wished my Pebble would allow me to set this. Thanks in advance!

IMO no reminders app on the watch is a serious dropped ball. the watch was BUILT FOR a reminders app. how could they not have included it???????????

So the Reminder app that is present in iOS and OS X is not in the Apple Watch, but can we at least VIEW the reminders from the watch? If not, this is quite a deal breaker for me since I use Reminders a lot.

it's the opposite. you can set reminders using siri, and the reminders pop up on their scheduled times. you just can't view the set reminders on the watch. you have to use your phone for that. so yeah probably a deal breaker for you. but I bet apple will release a reminders app for the watch eventually. it would be stupid not to.

Sorry if I wasn't clear in my post, but yep, what I want is to view the reminder I have set. Often times I want to check what are the task I have for the day or tomorrow and was hoping I can glance these from the watch.

As far for creating new Reminder, I knew I'd use the phone more often for this. Between Siri and Google voice, none of the voice recognition ever capture what I tried to say 100% of the time.

For what it's worth, my notifications sync just fine. If I read a text on my watch, it is no longer on my phone. If I'm on my phone and get a text, the watch doesn't get it (like it is designed). If you have multiple notifications waiting to be read on the watch, pull down on the screen and individually swipe and clear them. You can also Force Touch the list of notifications to clear all. This should clear them from your phone too (it does no mine at least). A couple times I did run in to the issue at hand where they weren't cleared from my phone, but a simple reboot of the watch and phone fixed everything.

As far as all the other issues you mentioned, a Reminders app is the only thing really an issue for me, but I think that will be solved with a software update soon. Another one is the fact that I can't receive/place calls on the watch (or at least get the notification one is coming through) while using the wifi calling feature on my iPhone (T-Mobile). It is the same limitation I have with my iPad and MacBook using the phone call Handoff feature.

Using a Pebble watch for about two years, I realized a smart watch isn't meant to be played with all the time. It's there for simple notifications and quick info at glances, and now fitness tracking. I din't need another smartphone strapped to my wrist. That being said, when I first got the Pebble I tried to do EVERYTHING on it. That quickly wore off with sore forearms from holding my arm up and realizing it is not convenient at all. It settled in and I learned its place.

That's my $0.02 at least.

To be honest, I'd prefer notifications such as SMS etc not to sync.. If I get an SMS I could quickly read and dismiss it on the watch, but I may not feel the need to reply straight away... when I do go to use my phone the next time, if the notifications had cleared I'd likely forget all about the SMS and replying anyway, so leaving the notification on the phone for the next time I use it would actually be a good feature IMO!

Maybe have a feature to mark an SMS as read temporarily but remind you again at the interval of your choosing. I.e. Remind again in 1 hour, 2 hours, etc.

Hey, that's a good app idea!

<start coding in Swift>

There needs to be a MUTE indicator on the watch screen.

MUTE should (optionally) also mute the phone.

Cover to mute should be a toggle.

o Stuff doesn't sync. If i dismiss a message on my watch it doesn't clear it on the phone. i have to dismiss it there too. No surprise here Apple has always sucked at sync.

o Calendar app only shows current month. Cant go back or forward.

o No reminders app. No seriously.. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills on this one. Is it there? Am I holding it wrong?

o No haptic or sound if watch looses connection to phone. May be annoying for some but an option for it would be nice.

o Cant set the background of a watchface to a custom photo. So much for the whole "most personal device" thing.

o Cant play music through the watch speaker. Can only use watch as source with BT headphones.

o No onboard calculator app. I think this is kind of odd. Maybe I'm the one who's odd.

o The Mail app. Oh the mail app.... I can't believe my ONLY options are _1_ inbox or _all_ inboxes. I mean not being able to reply is bad enough but not being able to simply change which inbox I'm looking at? I mean come on meow.

... Having said all that. Loving the watch. :)

What??? There's no reminder app? No calculator app? And you can't go forwards and backward in calendar? Well that sucks....really sucks actually and really strange
