To be fair, you're reading a rumors website. So everything on here is "in the works" or "possible". Apple themselves announced all this Apple Intelligence stuff and didn't deliver, so that's on them. But there's also tons of stuff that gets reported on sites like this that Apple hasn't actually said they'd do.Everything at Apple seems to be "in the works" these days. Is anything happening now? Soon??
Agree on the Mac app. Sometimes clicking play in a row-wise list of songs isn’t even activating the target track. I have to click the song above or below. It is a crappy mess.100% this. I'm still dealing with an ages old bug where the app sometimes relaunches itself after quitting. And a bug where search returns zero results. And a bug where pushing 'play' sometimes does nothing.
As someone who enjoys Freddie Mercury and Liszt, that sounds like a win to me. A result like that would count as personalized and entirely appropriate in my case.Hey Apple Music, play something popular in the genre of the music of Freddie Mercury.
‘Sure, here’s what I found on the web……(plays Franz List Hungarian Rhapsody #2)’
That shows up for me under Home > Recently Played. But I do think it needs to be handled better since it doesn't reflect the actual song, just the album or playlist....And where on earth is continuity for Apple Music? Why can’t I start listening to a playlist or song on my Mac and then automatically continue via my phone or watch, or vice versa. I just don’t get how this isn’t a thing.
Done right, there's a ton of potential to this.
Using AI to get recommendations on songs that have the same atmosphere or BPM as the one you're currently listening to, for example, could open up whole new avenues of music discovery and playlist creation
Wow so maybe AM will get AI generated visualisations then keeping up with the latest tech trends from 2001 will finally be complete
I'd hope that they can use AI to get much much better at music recommendations and discovery.
Spotify is way better than Apple is with this.

oh God, no
Please give us back a normal iTunes if this happens.
There's an app called Retrospective for Mac and it lets you install iTunes on the newest MacOS. That's what I use.
