Ha. And all you plebs thought this was about curing a viral infection. Fools! It's all about increased social control, monitoring, and punishment for all the sheep. Mask up, take this injection, shut up, and present your papers! Now!
All very sensible but try telling that to a good few congress critters (GOP) and see what you get back. Conspiracy Theories abound!

I agree! What's next? A driver's license to drive a car? A social security number to get a job?

That’s a bit melodramatic, don’t you think? Come on, you could say that about literally any law, rule, or regulation.
“Seat belts are required to be worn?? But it’s MY car! Pretty soon they’re going to tell us we can’t drive at all.”
“What? I have to report MY taxes to the IRS? My financial situation is private! Pretty soon they’re going to tell us we can’t manage our own money.”
“What do you mean I can’t create copies of this Frozen 2 DVD to sell? It’s MY movie I bought and MY DVD business I’m running. Pretty soon they’re going to tell us we can’t run our own businesses.”
See how easy it is to make it sound like our “freedoms” are being attacked?
If you don’t want to get vaccinated, you don’t get to be next to other people. If you want to limit yourself to your house and your yard, you don’t have to be vaccinated. Be happy no one is dragging you to a quarantine detention camp.
This is a very bad idea for many reasons.
1. The vaccine is not available in the free market. It is only available through the government to populations that the government has designated as favored recipients.
If governments restrict travel to those who have the vaccine while simultaneously controlling who gets the vaccine, they have built an effective tool for awarding travel to only the people groups that they favor.
2. If this catches on, the COVID-19 vaccine will not remain the only requirement for this passport. What about the rest of the possible vaccines? Shouldn’t those be required? And even if you have all your vaccines, maybe we should require a recent health check from a government-certified doctor. And how do we address mental health to ensure complete safety? Perhaps everyone should have to meet with a government psychologist to ensure that their ideas are safe to travel.

Whether an unvaccinated person boards a flight or enters a country is in fact that airline's and that country's business.
But you can stay home and not disclose anything.
There’s a chance vaccinated people can still get and spread the virus but that chance according to phase 3 vaccine studies is around 5% for Phizer/Moderna (source) and maybe around 20-30% for other vaccines.
The important part is that if the majority of people take the vaccine the spread of covid will go down at an exponential rate.
I agree vaccination should not be compulsory, however, you shouldn’t be allowed access to private or public spaces where you might be a vector of disease for others and a menace to the public health, as said, no shirt, no shoes, no mask/vaccine, no service.
A business’ workers and fellow customers shouldn’t have to deal with a self-inflicted risk.
And it’s in the airlines’ and states’ power to deny flyers for public interests. It’s in your right to charter a flight or start your own airline.

That's a complete lie. Vaccine passports have been publicly discussed for the better part of the year, and no one dismissed reports of those discussions as "conspiracy theories."
Your legal guardian should be able to manage that for you.
Fair enough, and the best for an airline, restaurant or different country might be to deny you access, as you could be a risk factor in a pandemic that has cost billions to get under control and hundreds of thousands of lifes.
You’re free to have your groceries delivered at your home and cook there, as a restaurant is free to not allow you inside or provide you service.
The IATA is not a government.
As long as you can keep any COVID virus you may contract to yourself as well, I would agree. How would you go about doing that?
No thanks, if they make it mandatory it will go against our rights. If thats what they want, you all will have to work harder so you can sustain people that will not be working due to not getting the vaccine and being allowed in the job site.

When a business asks to see my vaccination card I will leave and never return to that business. I have been vaccinated but will never support a business that requires to see it.
