Still not sure where mine is actually coming from.

Just still says “Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS, USPS Awaiting Item December 16, 2020.”

So my USPS info just updated; it seems like the tracking didn't update on USPS's end until now due to their backlog. Shows a delivery date of Monday

RIP so my BB USPS shipment that was supposed to arrive tomorrow just came up with the status of “in transit, arriving late”. Just what I feared due to nationwide USPS delays. Just hoping I can get it before Christmas at this point.

What color did you buy? I bought space gray and they shipped my order all the way from Spokane, WA when I’m in MD. Literally across the country

AT&T update. My order status now shows shipping around January 14th. They initially said delivers in 2-3 days when I ordered. Lesson learned - avoid AT&T.

At least my Sky Blue order moved up to mid-Feb. Hopefully it moves up further but I'm in no rush.

That’s nice to have a date. My AT&T order is still “In Progress” maybe I’ll see an update today or tomorrow. I’ll keep checking Apple Store pickup too.

Becoming more and more irritated. Still no movement on this order that was supposedly shipped on Wednesday.

Thanks for the heads up but they only have green available for delivery all the other colours out of stock. I’m after the space grey. But will keep an eye on there site also. The search continues.

Personally not happy that Apple charges at time of order and not time of shipping, particularly for items like this

if you order online today it ships in February. This is an assumption but I would guess that come February it would be far easier to walk into a store and buy one off the shelf. Instead you are charged 2 months before your expected date of arrival which I have since canceled as it didn’t make sense to me to tie up 600 dollars for no real benefit

nothing against the product itself but wish Apple did as many other online companies do

Oh weird. I think Apple usually charges when it goes into preparing for shipment. I haven’t been charged yet.

The charge should be “pending” only when ordering.

USPS is also notorious for missing scans. I've had USPS packages go from being in CA with no departure scan to being delivered in NY. It's frustrating but sometimes when it looks like it's not moving, it actually has already.

Right. My experience on both my Amex and my Apple Card is it is immediately authorized and "pending" at time of order. Moves to an actual charge when actual shipment process begins or at time of pickup.

Some updates for everyone from Canada. Ordered late on launch day. One pair from Apple (March delivery date) and one pair from Best Buy Canada (delivery by Dec 31).

yesterday the Best Buy ones shipped with Tuesday delivery date. Today Apple changed the delivery date to February. My plan is to still cancel the Apple ones once the Best Buy order arrives.

Finally got some tracking. Was scanned coming from Tulsa this morning. Says delivery Wednesday, which seems to be an awfully long time to go between Tulsa and St Louis.

Space Gray just became available in the store next door... canceled tomorrow’s pickup at a store one hour away and pick them up now at a closer store...

Quebec customer here. Ordered early on launch date from Apple, expedited shipping with December 23rd delivery date. Shipped yesterday but now delivery is set for January 4th. Called Apple Support and they told me it wasn’t their fault as it was a UPS worldwide issue. I’m gutted.
