Oh get real. I went to college for 7 years and got two degrees and a minor. I have worked up the career ladder for 20 years now. Yes, I have worked hard. I have worked 60 hour weeks. I have worked 24 hours straight. I have been on calls, I have worked without sleep, I have put blood and tears in to my work. I have worked hard for where I am. Don't you dare call me entitled.
Let me tell you something, billions of people don't want to go through what I did. They want to work at McDonalds and get 6 figures. They want 6 figures without any work involved. And they complain when people like myself that has worked for roughly 30 years to get to where I am get paid how I get paid.
I don't know how working up the career ladder to appreciate what I am capable of brining to the table in my career now makes me entitled. I started at the very bottom of the barrel, worked my way up for 20 years to get to where I am. So yes, I want to work from home now. I want to get some of my work/life balance in order. When I am done working, I can immediately spend time with my family now vs having to commute after a 10 hour work day.
And really my life is so good? Do you know me, do you know my life? What is your evidence? My life is not good, my work/life balance SUCKS, which is why work from home is a great benefit. It has caused strain in many of my relationships due to my long schedules.
