Now, new to-scale 3D visualizations based on MacRumors' images by Apple concept graphic designer Ian Zelbo provide further evidence that the second-generation AirPods Pro will not have a so-called "stemless" design.
How is this mounting evidence, if they're just based off of Macrumors' images?

Boycott Apple until they beam the sounds directly into your head. Stems are so 2020

Oh no, after twitter Kuo said there will be M2 13" Mbp at spring event...it failed..next M1 macbook air it will probably failed since everyone else is saying M2...now the stemless design is not so stemless?!
At this point we should place that Kuo twitter account to the rest since its strange enough

So no lossless audio, No USB C, Probably same battery capacity, and same design? What makes this even an upgrade?

Honestly, this is the biggest reason I was looking forward to a redesign. It's obvious to me the existing model has a design flaw that causes the static problem after a while. Every single person I work with who owns a pair has had to get them replaced at least once by Apple for that issue in less than a year's time. And despite Apple claiming a certain date range of them were recalled? All the affected ones I've run across were purchased after those dates.
Yeah same here, but they replaced mine anyway.

I hope he’ll hold it back forever because the current design is much better, not to say close to perfection.
Hardly. The silicon tips don't stay in people's ears, and an entire industry of third party tips has sprung up around one poorly designed product. The AirPods Pro aren't even really designed to be in-ear. They are the same basic bulging shape as regular AirPods, but larger, with tips stuck on the end. They aren't well designed at all. They don't fit anyone well because the main body is awkwardly shaped. Even if you manage to get the tips wedged, the rest of the body is huge and bulging and doesn't fit inside the outer ear cavity at all.

Apple could do everyone a favor and redesign them completely and instead of continuing to ship EarPods with tips bolted on as an in-ear product.

Considering rumors that next year, Apple could switch accessories to USB-C, I really don’t want to buy another accessory that I know I’ll want to replace in a year. There’s really no reason that Apple shouldn’t offer a USB-C charging case already.
But then you couldn't get people to buy it twice.

I see the stem as an advantage really? When these first came out, I thought it was just a stupid looking gimmick that made it obvious a wearer was using an Apple product. But now that I've owned a pair for a while, I like that it gives them enough "substance" so there's more to hold onto when handling them, and makes them a little easier to find if you accidentally drop one someplace.
Exactly!

If the stemless design led to a decline in battery life, comfort or microphone quality, that’d have been a disappointing sacrifice of function over form. I’d welcome a stemless design if it doesn’t have any of those drawbacks. Till then, keep to what works well.

Here is „anyone“.

I can't imagine them ever getting rid of the stems, they're the AirPod equivalent of the white wires, they tell everyone you're using an Apple device.

I've been really loving the sound and design (ear wings!) of the Beats Fit Pro compared to my AirPod Pros.

Sometimes I wonder if Apple purposely limits the build quality of the case and the features (lack of wireless charging) to limit competition with Apple brand headphones. I honestly feel like Beats would outpace Apple sales if they were given the same treatment.

I really hope they keep the stem, I fumble with them so much, I'll lose a stemless on day one!!

I don't care about the stems. My wish list is: better battery life, better noise cancellation and to have them last longer than 12 months before they start making aggravating squelchy sounds. I've had to have mine replaced twice.
