It is in the iOS connected with the health app, which reads the audiogram and sets up the AirPod Pros, a simplified version of an equalizer. Much simpler. but works to a point in my case.

I'm thinking of finally jumping into TWS for my specific use case: strictly using with macOS (M1Pro Macbook Pro) for things like video conference calls, Youtube and Netflix. I just like the idea of being able to move about while not having to carry my MBP with me across the room (when using wired IEMs/buds as I do currently).
I'll be really interested in reading user impressions about sound quality of the Pro 2. I had a chance to use the OG Pro a few months ago for a few days. They were "fine" from a sound quality aspect. My preference would be for better sound (I know, I know...super subjective) with this version. I'll likely buy anyway, but it'd be nice to know that a device I'll probably need to replace in a couple/several years (due to eventual battery degradation, if nothing else) is at least "worth it" to me from a sound quality aspect.
I have been reluctant to buy-to-try non-Apple TWS thus far; I'm not certain if I need to worry about things like audio/video syncing issues. Sooo, got plenty of research to do before the Pro 2 are released.

My dry (lame?) sense of humour automatically responds with - it'll use the remaining battery in the AirPods to try and 'zap' you back to life. Hate to be the person with only 1% battery left!
Decent specs. I hadn't heard of the headphone brand so that's good to know. Also, why do you need a pair of them, isn't one enough?

Asking because I think I managed to leave my second gen AirPods in the Levi's changing room when trying on some jeans yesterday 😭 Want to go pro as a replacement but if a new gen is coming relatively soon I might as well wait.

Likely either the September phone event or an October event for updated M2 devices or maybe some M2 Pro devices
Thanks guys. Luckily I found my old AirPods, didn't leave them in a changing room after all 🙈 but can now happily wait a few months for the new Pros.
As someone who wears hearing aids, that function would be amazing. Obviously my actual hearing aids would work better but since I cant wear both at the same time it would be great to have that functionality while using my airpods. That would be worth the upgrade alone.
