I agree I see it more towards 2023. I’m just pointing out it’s more of a given now it’ll happen.Yes but would be surprising if it was this year. Reports are 2023.

I will buy AirPods when they make one that is capable of lossless audio. If we can’t meet basic digital standards from over 40 years ago then maybe it’s not ready for the world yet.
Im a bit of an audiophile like you, use DACs and decent wired headphones for the best audio quality. The Airpods Pro are very good though, have a nice flat sound signature, perfect for people like us. They actually sound better than ‘Wired earbuds’ .I've just bought a decent DAC and wired headphones for listening to music in the best quality I can afford but these do look good. I'll keep my current AirPods Pro for when I need to use wireless earbuds.
They have a very primitive version where they just remember the last place where the AirPods were disconnected. After that point, they have no idea what happened to them. I constantly get warnings that my AirPods Pro were left at place X. In reality, I just put them in my pocket at place X and drove away. that warning is both annoying and near useless. What’s new about this? Current AirPods and AirPods Pro have this capability.
FWIW there's tons of third party tips on Amazon, I use theseI hope the tips stay in the ear better than the current ones.
Not quite, they can use a bluetooth ping as a location finder which lets your phone show basically a "hot/cold" type finder and they can be told to ping to find them with sound. The combination let me find a lost earbud in the grass a few weeks ago. They have a very primitive version where they just remember the last place where the AirPods were disconnected. If the new ones have actual, constant location awareness, that will be a big improvement.
They charge wirelessly. They could just get rid of the wired connector all together.I wonder, would they really make them USB-C when the most commonly used device hasn't yet switched over?
You really believed a wifi radio supporting lossless bandwidth would be an ideal consumer experience is such limited and low battery capacity energy constraints in-ear earphones would actually happens? So no lossless support?
Mmyes. I am sure everyone can afford an iPhone AND an Apple Watch AND these AirPods.Temperature and heart rate. This is ridiculous. Those would be useless features on headphones that are duplicated by watches. Temperature is just completely unnecessary. No one needs constant temp measures.
yes, I suppose the actual ear pieces can do that. Where I run into limitations is when they are stored the case and the phone only knows where they were when they were put away. Not quite, they can use a bluetooth ping as a location finder which lets your phone show basically a "hot/cold" type finder and they can be told to ping to find them with sound. Full find my integration would be nicer though
About damn time! My Case only charges wireless now and the LED is dead. Apple wanted 100€ from me for a new case when you can get brand new AirPod Pro for around 70€ more. Such a joke!
Could you post a link to this process?I put picture of my audiogram in and the software read it and programmed them
That's funny I have the exact same problem with my case. Dead led and only wireless charging.
