I do order from Amazon, but it doesn't always go through usps. They arrived today, instead of yesterday when they were scheduled to. It is okay though, just panicked when they said it had been put on wrong plane. They work great.

View attachment 679603 View attachment 679605 I ordered from ATT 12/22 and the chat rep told me they'd arrive by 12/24 if I paid $15 for expedited shipping. Today I received a tracking number for 12/27 delivery. 38 minutes of phone conversations later, I have been "escalated" to someone who apparently is so important they have to call me back on their schedule.

I have the chat log of the ATT rep telling me #1 they are in stock and #2 I can definitely have them by Christmas. I cancelled my other orders and skipped going to the mall today thinking this was a sure thing. What a bummer.

I ordered the same day as you. Didn't pay any extra shipping. They shipped that night from Texas and arrived at my local Post Office in Minnesota at 6pm last night (Christmas Eve). So they'll end up delivered on the 27th as well.

At the very least they should refund the expedited shipping to you.

got it and connected it with my MBP. Did a facetime with my dad and he says there is a delay on the audio on his end. Idk if it's my end of my dad's end. By the end of the facetime, the audio reaches my dad before my mouth moves. This doesn't happen when I use the wired earpods and is my first BT headphones.

After getting an original date of 12 Jan then being pushed back to 17 Jan I have just received a Shipping email saying they are arriving on 29 December. Confusion reigns!

It seems that as a "non ATT" customer" I'm having a very hard time getting them to acknowledge or offer me any sort of refund. I have since called back and was told that since it has been "escalated" no one else can help me until it has been reviewed. lol

I'm not an AT&T customer either. Not that that makes you feel any better. Just to let you know that I didn't get any preferential treatment. According to tracking, mine are sitting at my post office waiting to be delivered tomorrow.

In any case, hopefully you'll get them tomorrow as well. Continue to press with the escalation team once they contact you. You can tell them you know of someone who also ordered on 12/22 (at 2:28 pm EST) who got them on the same day as you without paying for express shipping. Also you have the screen print of your chat with Andres in Customer Service. That should help you.

The Apple bashing, Airpod bashing, Tim Cook bashing here is a joke. I received these on the 19th, gave them to my wife for Christmas. She is overjoyed with how much they have improved her life...

And for you fartcatchers who are going to respond that I am shallow because I just claimed they "improved her life", the answer is they have GREATLY improved her life. She is a successful fine artist that paints in her studio for 8 - 9 solid hours a day. She listens to music and news and podcasts while she paints. She also has to take many phone calls from her galleries and clients. The Airpods allow her to paint freely and listen, take calls, ask Siri questions and make appointments, pause her content by taking one out, charge one Airpod while the other is in her ear, switch between her iPad content and iPhone content... AND the sound quality is incredible. I wore them for a few hours yesterday and you have no idea they are in your ears. Nothing I did would make them fall out. I have ordered my pair and will happily wait.

For those of you saying Airpods are a joke and a fail... thank you. I'm hoping my wait will be shorter because of you.

Got them today, a day earlier than the revised delivery date and a whole lot earlier than the original Jan 12th date.

1. As soon as I opened the battery case, my iPhone paired with them without me even doing anything. That's pretty slick.
2. The battery case is a lot smaller than I thought it would be. Basically, it's about the same size as my old earpods with the cable rolled up., so really don't think it'll be a problem to carry the case and airpods in my pocket.
3. Sound quality and ear fit seem fine. They don't feel like they'll fall out easily. Time will tell if they fail on either.
4, I do wish they had some kind of volume play/pause function, but I'll see if I can adjust to using my watch or iPhone to control that. I'm NOT going to tell Siri to change the volume and look like a dork on Bart. :) It's bad enough I have to tell her to play a playlist all the time because Apple won't fix the issue with 10.x not remembering the playlist you were playing the last time you played something.
5. There is an option in the bluetooth settings for the Airpods to use the double tap as Siri or play/pause. Nice to have that option. I do wish Apple would allow you to set a double tap on one side for Siri and the other for play/pause.

I'll know more after a couple days of using them, but they seem good so far.

that would be the only problem i find on these AirPods no volume function without siri so they won't work ass well on any product without siri, used them to watch a movie on my tv yesterday and the sounds is amazing! paired them to my phone my mac and my tv and they pair easily to all. to me the earphones seem a tiny bit smaller then the EarPods maybe thats why they feel so comfy in your ears and hard to fall out

I was able to find a pair online this morning for pickup at a local NYC Apple Store. I'm still testing them out but can say they sound much better than I expected. They fit my big ears nicely as well, not likely to fall out.

Am I the only one with a Jan. 12 delivery date that hasn't change? I'm seeing a lot of people getting there's two weeks before they were supposed too

Well, I ordered them via Apple's website/store (US) @ 12/14/16, 8:41 PM (CDT) and had a promised delivery by 1/30/2017. I just received mine via UPS on Jan 23, 2017 a week earlier than promised.
