"Panicked"? Really? Over a set of AirPods?... just panicked when they said it had been put on wrong plane. They work great.
Where do they recommend this?
View attachment 679603 View attachment 679605 I ordered from ATT 12/22 and the chat rep told me they'd arrive by 12/24 if I paid $15 for expedited shipping. Today I received a tracking number for 12/27 delivery. 38 minutes of phone conversations later, I have been "escalated" to someone who apparently is so important they have to call me back on their schedule.
I have the chat log of the ATT rep telling me #1 they are in stock and #2 I can definitely have them by Christmas. I cancelled my other orders and skipped going to the mall today thinking this was a sure thing. What a bummer.
Is the Apple website lying about stock then?
I ordered the same day as you. Didn't pay any extra shipping. They shipped that night from Texas and arrived at my local Post Office in Minnesota at 6pm last night (Christmas Eve). So they'll end up delivered on the 27th as well.
At the very least they should refund the expedited shipping to you.
It seems that as a "non ATT" customer" I'm having a very hard time getting them to acknowledge or offer me any sort of refund. I have since called back and was told that since it has been "escalated" no one else can help me until it has been reviewed. lol
Over a purchase that sent wrong way. Worried I wouldn't get purchase. I think you might have to."Panicked"? Really? Over a set of AirPods?
Saw that twice today. Stock last about 15 minutes max. Now the Long Island stores need to get some stock so I can go grab a pair.some available right now in downtown manhattan NY ordered mine to pickup today
Got them today, a day earlier than the revised delivery date and a whole lot earlier than the original Jan 12th date.
1. As soon as I opened the battery case, my iPhone paired with them without me even doing anything. That's pretty slick.
2. The battery case is a lot smaller than I thought it would be. Basically, it's about the same size as my old earpods with the cable rolled up., so really don't think it'll be a problem to carry the case and airpods in my pocket.
3. Sound quality and ear fit seem fine. They don't feel like they'll fall out easily. Time will tell if they fail on either.
4, I do wish they had some kind of volume play/pause function, but I'll see if I can adjust to using my watch or iPhone to control that. I'm NOT going to tell Siri to change the volume and look like a dork on Bart. It's bad enough I have to tell her to play a playlist all the time because Apple won't fix the issue with 10.x not remembering the playlist you were playing the last time you played something.
5. There is an option in the bluetooth settings for the Airpods to use the double tap as Siri or play/pause. Nice to have that option. I do wish Apple would allow you to set a double tap on one side for Siri and the other for play/pause.
I'll know more after a couple days of using them, but they seem good so far.
