I meant the in-ear EarPods. The ones with the rubber. Not the EarPods provided with the iPhones.
Edit: Those:

I see. Well, anyway, they are nothing like those. As said, imagine the earpods apple provides with their phones. Now remove the cable. Airpods.
I can almost guarantee that if people have issues while working out with earpods, the airpods will be the same, barring issues exclusive to tugging on the cable, which is no longer there.

3. I do not think they are going to fall out of my ears when running - I am going to test that out, I don't care if I lose one, I want to test em and see if I can lose them running. They are so lightweight in the ear, they have zero inertia, so they should not fall out unless you bump them or bump your ear maybe. I dunno - just got them like 10 minutes ago!
If you can remember to tag me in your review that would be awesome. I get the opposite feeling here, but not because of inertia, but rather sweat. A half an hour jog I could probably handle. Anything more than that and standard buds (including pple's) just sort of start slipping out.
I have already seen some third parties get on this with loops and hooks. I would love some sort of silocone/gel sheeth that slips onto each buds and thus into my ears. I don't mind how stupid I am sure it would look as my main goal is to get a good run in without worrying about accessories.
My favorite pair right now are yurbuds, and I am actually
reading here that the silicone tips fit perfectly on earpods... I just assumed they wouldn't since the tips are different but now I need to try. This may be a game changer and point of frusteration for me not having bought a pair of these airpods already lol.

Wow. Are you seriously complaining that Apple is delivering something to you early? What a bunch of whiners on this site! Jesus H. Christ!
On the one hand I agree with you. On the other, it would be nice to have some semblance of warning. I ordered a watch for my wife on preorder night (whatever you want to call it) and the shipping estimate was immediately 3 weeks out from the getgo. I went to an Apple store launch day morning and picked the watch up for her (they had it just availble to buy an hour after open). I treid to cancel my order when I got home but wasn't able to. I called and was told it had shipped. Sure enough my card was charged a few hours before. I didn't receive notificaion until later that day.
Getting things shipped earlier is always nice. But I have to believe that a three week estimate doesn't turn into a launch day estimate overnight, generally speaking. Anyway, just a Minor annoyance; I ended up waiting for it to be delivered and then returned the one I received in the mail. I can also understand a poster expecting something to ship after they are back from vacation only to find it shipped before leaving for vacation to be frustrating. In his case I'd simply cancel the order and reorder once home.
