Its a matter of perspective. Most iPhone users don't really see the X as amazing as the price tag. There are some technologies that are great, of course, but not for everyday usage (please don't use Face ID as something amazing - its not)So, you ignore the iPhone X which was a massive leap forward in power and battery life, an intuitive button free UI that even Google is copying, Face ID which every manufacture is trying to replicate, the iMac Pro that fits an incredibly powerful professional rig into an all in one, the industry leading A class chips that are beating the established chip giant Intel, and the AppleWatch which is miles ahead of the competition and practically standing alone in the sector like the iPod did just before it propelled Apple to the stratosphere.
This conversation isn’t even worth having with you as you clearly see the world in negative tones, missing entirely the amazing things that are happening.
iMac Pro is fine, nothing outstanding but its good. A chips are great but don't have utilisation. Apple Watch lacks more sensors/benefits
Again, what is the point to have powerful A chip in my iPad 2018 if the iOS is seriously lagging behind?
If one looks at things on paper only then I'm with you. In reality though, the "paper amazing features" don't translate to real usage etc. so that is where I disagree with you.
Either way, you are optimistic about it and I'm not. Nothing wrong with either, its just a perspective. I don't really see touchbar MBP as amazing (I have one at home) but maybe you do. To me its just another gimmick from Apple.
