Airtag order already “preparing to ship”?

At least you know who ships yours. Ordered 4 mins after pre order opened and it's been stuck on preparing to ship with no notifications from any of the couriers. Guess I didn't win the delivery lottery on this one.
Well this is a bonus. I ordered my Apple keyring on Tuesday with a delivery date of the 10th May and it changed to preparing to ship today and now it’s changed to shipped with delivery tomorrow alongside my Airtags.
I got a shipping notification that my black Belkin keychain shipped and is coming tomorrow. If its does 3 separate boxes/packages. (4 if the blue one ships today) My concierge in my building is going to love that 😂

Similar to many others here. My holder is being delivered by a company name Deliver-It. I have a feeling it's going to be like Ontrac (on-crack) 2.0. I can't even enter a gate code in the Deliver-It system. I have a feeling it's going to be redelivered next week. Why can't Apple just stick with Fedex and UPS.
My Apple leather airtag holder was supposed to ship between the 6th-10th May as I only ordered it two days ago but they've already shipped it and its arriving tomorrow, and it's arriving at the same time with the same courier as my airtags are that I ordered on pre-order day. Nice surprise 😁
Apparently all my keychains and air tags have shipped all UPS but I can’t see where they are. It just says shipped and arriving tomorrow 🤷♂️

Mine, as well... pretty standard process for Apple... some devices get staged locally and others come directly to customer from China... mine are actually in Ontario, CA. My guess is that the engraved devices are coming direct to the customer from China, the non-engraved were drop shipped from China days/weeks ago and will go out from the local distribution points.
Yeah, this is the first I've ever seen having inventory in the US prior to the release date.
My 4-pack plus 4 keyrings (only one is for me!) should be here between 11-12. Will be fun to try them out.
Its here, the keychain is expensive but its nice quality.
