Can't see the side but at least this gives you an idea of the size. Hard to tell in videos but smaller than I thought it would be.

AirTags don't seem to do what I've wanted them to do ever since they were rumored -- that being if I put one in my backpack, and I walk away (or drive away) from my backpack (say, I leave it behind at a client) that my iPhone would alert me that I left my backpack behind BEFORE I drive 30 miles back home and discover I forgot my backpack.

Am I correct that AirTag only helps me find something lost and not remind me I'm about to leave something behind?

I was in and engraving quicker than that. I think its the act of engraving that delays it so they know they have stock.

I checked out at 8:04 with a 4 pack engraved. I’ve got launch delivery.

I bet there will be a youtube video soon showing someone drilling a 1 mm hole in the rim, hopefully that will work without damaging an antenna, that'll save lots of accessory money.

Good point. I’m sure Ifixit will X-ray one of these and see if there is an opportunity to drill a hole somewhere.

I’d be surprised if you could though. It looks like the battery covers the entire surface area.

You can have your iPhone play a sound already and can find it in the find my app.

Why would you need Tile or Tag for that? Just goes to Find My, select your phone and play sound.

I forgot to order when the store opened, but was able to get an order in for a Belkin holder and 4-pack. I plan to use Velcro on a couple of them to stick into various items. Tags are arriving on the 30th, but the key ring will take another few days.

nope, it still says 30th on the first order of 4 customized airtags. It was 2 minutes after shop returned. 5th may on second order, which was ordered maybe 30 seconds after the first order. So you had to be under 3 minutes to get airtags shipped on 30th april.
