All iPhone 13 Models Available to Pre-Order This Friday With September 24 Release Date

I was mostly disappointed at the presentation. The best upgrade/improvement came to the iPad mini. Why not give the iPhone the fingerprint upgrade on the power button? And I think I got too excited about the rumours on Apple Watch. Wasn't nearly as exciting. Ill be upgrading my phone, but might have to wait on the watch.
 
I have the 11 Pro Max in green and I will be getting the 13 Pro Max in blue. I probably won’t preorder because I really like seeing them in the store first though.
 
I knew I should have shorted apple stock. This announcement stunk. I usually upgrade every year but this “it is faster” stuff is boring. And the cinematic thing? I didn’t even know it didn‘t do that already.

Not a good day to be a fan boy for sure.

Every year the say the sensor gather 40% light, the cpu is 50% faster, the battery lasts longer etc.. yet there’s not much difference between each model in real life.
The examples pictures they show always look as nice and the games always seems not to lag and to be the same as well for years.
They should cut the crap, smile less like they won the lottery and try to revolutionize the sector again

Yeah, looking I've made 11 payments. (The upgrade site isn't working for me currently... probably too many of us checking). I just made the 11th this week; the 12th isn't due until mid-October. I don't see a way to make an extra payment early; may have to call and figure that out (or just be patient and wait a month... but who wants to do that??)
 
Nothing compelling me to separate from my hard earned coins.
My upgrade cycle is when devices stop receiving OS updates. Thanks Apple!
 
The lack of USB-C is the one thing that grates. It is such an obvious and overdue update that I suspect it is just around the corner. Maybe next year. The 6s is dated but the thought of upgrading just before an expected and important change holds me back.

So is the magnet stronger or not and will the new MagSafe Wallet work with the iPhone 12 or did they cap it for no reason

13 generations in, you can't expect miracles. They still bring the goods every year though. Macro Photography or this new cinematic mode or the additional 2.5 hours of battery life are pretty incredible at this stage. I rarely have less than 55% battery on my 12 Pro Max after a full days of mid to heavy use.
 
Really hate the deceptive pricing. The non-pro models actually start at $729/$829. There's a $30 discount (bringing them to $699/$799) that is only available if you active them with a carrier. Apple even calls the $30 off a "discount" confirming the base prices really are $699/$799 so why not advertise it that way in the unveiling since $30 isn't going to make or break most purchases? (The answer, of course, is to get media to say that "the new iPhone is only $699!").

Of course, if you activate on a carrier you may incur a device upgrade fee + device locking, depending on the carrier and payment plan chosen.

Pretty disappointing that they didn't mention any improvements to MagSafe. It seems like if they had done anything in that space they would have mentioned it but perhaps they don't want to say it needed improving since they're keeping the 12 series around.
