I read online that this plan backs up your photos and videos in original quality/resolution unlike Google’s original unlimited photo backup which backed up in a slightly compressed format so this is definitely a great plan to have

Data Control on behalf of the US Government. It's a US company. Why do you think Google got destroyed in China? Why is the EU trying so hard to halt all of their Google Analytics, etc. Its purpose is to collect data on the US behalf. Just remember who the data control is for and where the country is headquartered and operated. If you are a US citizen, they do this on your Governments behalf. It's very obvious. People are so focused like their buying habits really matter in the grand scheme of things.

This is very foolish. Google is NOT going to share anything with a conservative President or Conservative Congress. It may work for/on behalf of a political party who's positions it supports, but it certainly does NOT work for the "US Government". Guess again!

You'll start caring when somebody in .gov decides to take something of yours. Like your money, your house, your baby daughter, or maybe your wife. Will this happen in our lifetimes? I don't know, they shut us down for 2.5 years and convinced us to wear muzzles, didn't they?
