+1 on that my friend!!!

There are gonna be loads of people highly p'ed off come this summer if none of these are implemented and my money is going on Apple doing EXACTLY THAT...!!:D

Well then i'm sure Apple won't be surprised when they lose a bunch of customers if they fail in iPhone 5 and iOS 5.

It's gotta be a tough call for Apple this year. They're stuck with a sub 4" screen unless they redesign the phone. It would even be a slight embarrassment if they only come out with a 3.8" screen. They will be laughed at because everyone else went 4" a year ago and Apple will still look like they're behind the curve.

Something to think about though: Whatever Apple is coming out with in June is already being manufactured. Will they step up to the challenge or rest on their past glory?

so you will dump apple if iphone 5 not gonna have larger screen? damnnnn, enjoy your larger android screen with crappy performance and lame apps.

18 model mess?

The iPad 2 had 18 different models which is indeed not possible for the iPhone 5 since it must have cellular built in. The most they can have is 9 if they have 16/32/64 GB models with black & white and AT&T and verizon seperately, assuming they don't do something weird like have more colors than black & white. Most likely they'll have 4 - 16/32 GB in both black & white with a combined GSM / CDMA chip.

Tony

I believe 12 is the correct number of models, not 9....assuming, as you said, they do 16/32/64GB.
