I think we're all going to be disappointed if they stick with the same chassis design. The Apple Watch is the last product not to get 'iPhone-5-ified' flat edges and it would look lovely with them. I really don't want a bigger one though. The current 41mm chassis is perfect for daintier wrists and the 45mm sits well within the confines of mine. A watch that is wider than your wrist just looks goofy.

In a shocking twist of fate, 91mobiles releases pictures of a heavily rounded rectangle.
Most of the most confidential documents of Apple concern rounded rectangles 🤔

Indeed one employ was sopped leaving Apple campus after a security guard mistook a paper notebook in the shape of a rectangle as confidential IP.

Read the article again 😉
No need thanks I read it the first time and my English comprehension is flawless.

Yes the overall case size isnt as big as the Ultra where they are shrinking bezels to make the screen bigger but the trend is to go bigger and bigger which is the jist of the article so where do they draw the line?
The ultra (or a tiny bit smaller) is already too big for a lot of people.

To be honest. The Apple Watch as it is is near perfect for most people. It’s small, unobtrusive, clean, no “sharp edges. This is why it’s remained so similar for so long. They had the design right from gen 1. Only the screen required any changes. A larger screen in the same frame, a larger battery. I don’t feel it needs to be any thinner… I’d rather have extra battery capacity.
Nah. It definitely needs to be thinner. And the current case design is quite bulbous and looks like a gadget. The screen should also go to the edge of the cover glass such that full-color backgrounds have zero black border.

It is thinner if you look at the digital crown and the side button compared to the case thickness. With glossy finish it will definitely look&feel even thinner than drawing, along with the bigger display. I think it will feel really nice so I am in (when there are pre-owned options on the market). (*Typing this while wearing my very first gen Apple Watch).

It is a gadget 😂

The only thing I agree on is an edge to edge screen.

You should go talk to Omega, Rolex and others about their men’s watches. You think Apple Watch is bulbous?

Could this be a new Apple Watch SE or something similar to mirror iPhone 8 / iPhone X? The new radical design might just be a Apple Watch Pro or something to that effect.

My god, is Apple really not capable of delivering a new design already? So boring to see those rounded sides yet another year.
Know what you mean

I got so tired of my circular wheels that I had square ones installed. Against car dealership advice I must say.

I told them the circular wheels were yesterday’s design, around for thousands of years. Was due a change.

Although a bit bumpy, they are cool to look at and this way I get to replace the suspension more often which is an added bonus.

Just a bit of advice… if you go fast enough they appear round and they don’t bump as much. But they are square.

Change is good man.

they might launch the “X” to introduce the new design along the regular one this year at a higher price point before the design becomes the norm next year. Just as they have done with the iPhone X along the regular iPhone 8 introduction back in the day. Gives them an excuse to charge more for it as well.

Yeah, and this render would show the conventional model.

It is thinner if you look at the digital crown and the side button compared to the case thickness.

OTOH the quoted 11,6 mm is thicker than the current Watch (10,7 mm).
