Agreed. I may be a monitory, but Even 32 Gb is more than enough for my requirements. Fortunately Apple finally graduated from 16 GB.

16gb might be fine for most users if Apple didn't steal part of that 16gb for the OS. Truly, can we get past advertising space as all being available and instead just admit part is used by the OS?

How hard would it be for them to sell a 20g phone where the OS makes only 16g addressable by the user and apps?

I like the copper color, as long as it is close to being copper. One never knows until you see it in person.

Of course, what does it matter, since I put a case on my phone anyway (as most people do).

Phil will be blushing once he introduces this new iPhone without an in-display TouchID. Audience will be booing for this and then he'll say "can no longer innovate my ass". He'll try to convince the audience that this is a better technology than TouchID. Then everybody will be clapping convincing themselves that it is the future of technology.:D

Will be nice to be able to choose a colour IF the front frame is black. I've had black for years because I want a black face plate (can't stand white). But still probably won't get it for that colour.

I was really hoping we'd get a Sapphire colorway this year. They introduced 3 blue iPhone cases earlier in the year, including one called "Sapphire".

A nice deep or steel blue would be so nice and I'd be all over it.

Over the weekend, mobile leaker Benjamin Geskin shared information in a Twitter post from an alleged Foxconn insider, claiming that the internal name of the new iPhone 8 color is "Blush Gold".

Looks like women's concealer/makeup to my eyes.:p

edit1: Isn't "blush" just another word for "rose"??

edit2: Also looks much better with a black front. Hoping the silver also comes with a black front.

It probably depends of how the new features will 'replace' the touch-ID. Maybe for payments it will be enough just to hit any 'pay now!'-button on the screen or on the Apple Watch as the new Infrared/Laser/whatever-sensor already captured your face a moment ago, so you might still confirm a payment by touching the touch-screen, but no need to touch the touch-id-button anymore. Or maybe they'll add some voice recognition, i.e. you confirm payments by saying "pay now" or just by simply nodding your head. iPhones/smartphones changed the way people behave (like everyone's starring at their screens at the public transport, in cafes and restaurants instead of talking to each other or reading newsPAPERS), so maybe this new technology will also change the behaviour of how people will pay...
Just imagine if you're waiting at Starbucks and everyone's confirming payments by nodding or shaking their heads or shouting 'damnit, yes, pay now for that damn overprized coffee'...

And don't forget the desktops. We're expecting a new Mac Pro and a new Mini. Creative pros will be excited about the former but I'm looking forward to the latter ever since Apple bailed on quad core architecture 5 years ago.

I'll believe the Mini when I see it. I really want to replace my MBP with a desktop. I just don't believe we'll get a new Mini and would be scared to see how they figure out how to gimp it.

Blush Gold? Ok whatever. But it looks more like Flush Poo! Disgusting color.
But then that's only a mockup so the real color might be okay. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
A copper or brass color would be nice. Not as showy as gold.

We'll see once announced, doubt it would look that ugly.. incredibly the 5S/SE design is still light years away from these hyped dummy versions, design has no integration.. front seems like a cheap plastic glued patch..the camera bump is dreadful, diarrhea color really? those toy bezels lol come on people.
