The color may be the one we saw but the name may be different. Last year the glossy black phone leaked just before the event, but the name was piano black and Apple named it Jet black.

I think this is going to be a very popular colour.
I myself like it, but I'll have to see the final product.

Reading many "comparisons" here, a lot of you folks must be colourblind (or bad comedians). Jony Ive has impeccable taste so I would advise to judge case colours only on released models as the chances that any dummy model or render hits the real copper/gold hue with any precicion is basically zero.

If the front will be black on all models, as I think is very probable, I will have a very hard time deciding between black, silver and copper. For me, this will be the most difficult iPhone choice ever, colour-wise, as at all other times the choice (for me) was rather obvious (4 -> black, 5 -> silver, 7 -> jet black).

You could just as easily conclude what's the point of renders at all? If a design decision is leaked surely people aren't so lacking in imagination that they couldn't just imagine it themselves. Seems to me most renders only exist to troll people who don't know what a fan-made render is and take it as an Apple "leak".
I’ve never understood why renders from graphic designers are considered news or rumors.

I can see a lot of women going for this as it looks like the colour of a makeup accessory. Also, finally a black front with coloured back render!
But if in some lights it looks Zune brown I don’t see it being popular at all.

I am going black or silver. If 64gb is the base storage, that's what I am getting because as nice as 128gb is, I don't need that much space thanks to Google Photos. The only thing that concerns me with the iPhone 8 is pricing. September can't come quick enough for the announcement and launch.

i do not care about the colour, as I always put in in the case. I'm more interested about the protective glass, and I hope they are making better SE.

Have Apple mentioned you can use the HomePod to control Apple TV?

No, we don't know anything about the HomePod. However, considering both Google Home AND Amazon Echo can control TVs through their set top TV boxes (FireTV and Chromcast). There's no reason the HomePod wouldn't/couldn't have similar functionality as well and I said, I won't get one until they prove to me Siri no longer sucks.

Venya Geskin's render above in this colour is now more attractive in my opinion. Like others, I have noticed the colour-toned Front bezels, and the colour-toned surround on the vertical rear camera which is flush with the Back of the phone. These would be very nice features if true, but are as likely as a max. 128GB on the new phone in this colour. :p Of course, the real test will be seeing the actual phone in this new colour once it's released. ;)

There colors are BORING! When will Apple get over these pastels and muted toned-down colors?

I loved the colors of the 4th gen iPod Nano. It was so much fun picking a color at the store.

Hopefully its more pink than brown. Looks like its a color that will look appear different depending on the lighting. If it's true to its supposed name and its more of a blush pink than brown, it will be my favorite iPhone color yet.

Since Rose Gold, Apple clearly has a colour specifically to appeal to women.

I want the Silver but only if the front bezel is black if not then i'll get the black.

In German language countries it will be called Kackbraun. :D

Someone commented to that Twitter post that the correct translation from the Chinese readout is cheek instead of blush by the way.
