Looks nice.

But let’s get real. These are moderate GUI updates to apps that any startup can produce in a week. Apple could push this out mid circle.

Instead, Apple needs to address Siri, Autocorrect, predictive keyboard, control centre, Notification Centre, and the many many bugs plaguing iOS.

For things like health records though, it's golden. I have my results for all my physicals since 2016 on there, it makes it easy to view health trends on my phone for things like cholesterol and other blood work
It’s fine but apple should do something with this data!

To me it’s like their poor support of siri. They don’t don’t do anything with it.

How cool would it be if they integrated whoop or garmin functionality? They data is there. Use it

Receipts? Surely Apple wants to get rid of all those pesky bits of paper. Sure it won't happen overnight, but they have to start somewhere.

People use them to reconcile bank statements, and for expenses claims, hence the continued need to collect them. So the less paper the planet would have to consume for such things, the better.

They do show trends for lab work data though. They say if specific lab results are higher or lower than your previous results, and it shows graphs of the past 5 years. It also says whether you're in range or out of range.

The Wallet app has always looked like a half-baked placeholder app. Now it finally looks like a complete app.

Health looks like an app already and the changes seem very small compared to Wallet’s. The only thing we can see here is that Summary has been improved with smaller tiles because instead of seeing just 3 categories on screen, it now shows 6 categories in the same amount of space.

I've been thinking about this for a long time. I know apple says they're not interested in knowing what I bought at Walgreens for $5.99, but there must be some way to have access to a securely stored receipt. If I go back to return it later, I don't have to go look for that little bit of paper.

Think of all the paper we'd save. If I pop in to the supermarket to buy some fresh fruits, I'm unlikely to be taking them back anyway, so I don't really want or need a receipt.

It would be great if you could set a default card for each location. So when you're in a coffee shop you double-click and your coffee loyalty card comes up. I read it's supposed to do this already for sone shops but I've never seen it happen

Just hope one day in health app you can rearrange the order of “favorite”… currently it’s implemented absolutely the worst way possible 🤦‍♂️

Yes, there are some loyalty cards that offer “automatic selection” when stored in Apple Wallet - never used it myself but here in the UK Texaco offer the feature and I also believe Nando’s.

My understanding is you hold your iPhone near the payment terminal and it reads your card via NFC & then prompts you to authenticate your default payment card?

Seriously, bro? They charge for everything. I have to pay to be able to talk to the hologram of Steve Jobs.
Yeah seriously. It is total BS to say that Apple would charge for the Health App, when there is zero basis for it.
They only charge for services like every other company out there, but never for the Health app. 🤦‍♂️ geesh

The one we have now is nice and clean. A search feature for what you can scroll in a nanosecond? Jeez. if you have more than 30 cards and passes in your life. Get a simpler life!

Alleged? I know with all of the bugs lately, there are things to dislike. But, this makes it sound like iOS is a suspected criminal.

It makes sense for expired passes, like cinema tickets. Where was it again that we watched that movie a few years ago?

I'm pretty sure that you can enable this to some degree with location settings, i.e., your Starbucks card will automatically show up on your lock screen as you enter a Starbucks if you've enabled location settings in a certain way for their app.

Wait till they come out with iHealth Pro. Only $29 per month.
I'm always amazed at the people who look at new features that Apple offers and their first thought is "this should be free, I can't believe this company that exists to make money, would charge for this. So greedy." They're a giant company. They literally only exist to make money.
