They're a giant company. They literally only exist to make money.
That’s a tired argument. Companies need to generate enough revenue to make ends meet, but their raison d’être should be to bring value to their customers. A company that literally *only* exists to make money is in no one’s interest except to those it makes money for. Companies should have higher aspirations than that. That’s not to say that services shouldn’t have a fair price.

And yet still no way to distinguish cards in the wallet from the same bank, just different accounts?

Am I missing something, because I'm constantly having to switch between 2 cards that I use often and they are the same colour. It would be great to be able to tag each one some how or change the colour or image.
The bank sets the colors, not Apple so far as I know but I agree. I would like a “picker” so I can select a design that is more obvious. I have two that look the same as well but one is default so it comes up first every time which helps.

If you want people to use some new piece of technology, you need to make it cheaper than the current version or free.
More and more places don't support NFC payment because surprise, surprise, it costs the merchant a fee every time a customer uses it whereas chip reading doesn't.
But it doesn’t. Who keeps spreading this misinformation? Terminal doesn’t distinguish or care about the difference between an NFC payment and a chip payment. To the terminal and processor these are both just chip payments.

The Wallet app has always looked like a half-baked placeholder app. Now it finally looks like a complete app.

Health looks like an app already and the changes seem very small compared to Wallet’s. The only thing we can see here is that Summary has been improved with smaller tiles because instead of seeing just 3 categories on screen, it now shows 6 categories in the same amount of space.
I never look at my wallet app unless I double click it for Apple Pay.

I wish it did more like give me notifications from my debit cards as well, as my bank still relies on text messages rather than push notifications and that’s just plain ugly.

Health on iOS is a weird app. At various times it's seemed more like a full-on database than something designed for consumers to use. The current version has quite nice charts at least.

This isn’t true. The fee while using Apple Pay is with the bank. Also more and more places support nfc than ever before.

So the plural of ID is indeed IDs. An apostrophe would denote possession or ownership. So if you were to say “My ID’s magnetic stripe has worn off” you would be referring to the magnetic stripe belonging to your ID. If you want to infer you have more than one ID, it is correct to say “My IDs will not all fit in my wallet”.

I would love it if the Wallet app made its way to the iPad along with Health. It’d be great at looking at spending categories and the like. I’d also really love it if Apple worked with more banks so that we could get data like account balances and full spending history right in Wallet. Some cards do that already but not all.

For Health, in addition to iPad support, native food tracking would be amazing.

It can be either, according to Britanicca.

Oh I'm sorry that you're bored of hearing that companies exist to make money. They always have, and they always will.

The companies that have higher aspirations than that are either non profits, or they don't make it.

I've not seen any interest added to my Apple Savings account over the past ~2 weeks, despite having a sizable balance. Anybody else have this issue?

Same sit. here but AAPL savings may be like my Marcus HYSA & only update the interest generated @ the end of each month.

I would love to see the ability to give a card a nickname so I don’t have to remember which account number is which. They also apparently can’t be re-ordered.
agreed. do you mean change the order your cards are in? you can do that, but maybe you’re referring to something else.

Sorry you’re right they can be reordered. I was thinking of the fact that the only way I can tell which is which without a nickname is the order they are in.
