It will be a shame, for me at least, if Apple start a trend of the Bigger iPhone been the more powerful one, not everyone wants to walk around with a big phone. For me the 4.7" would be perfect but if it suffers in terms of spec, i.e. 1 year behind the bigger one, that would be a shame.

1GB of RAM is already perfect for iPhone performance.

Android phones need more memory because the OEMs bloat the OS up with all their overlays and modifications.

But yeah nobody needs more actual RAM in an iOS device.

To be fair, battery life has improved with every iteration of iPhone since launch - thing is we think it's the opposite because we tend to use our devices more and more each year.

You wont be learning about this in 7 hours. Apple will not reveal RAM because it's irrelevant to the consumer and overall experience when it comes to iOS devices.

Disappointing with 1 GB RAM, but not surprising.

Only 100 MHz speed bump over the A7 tells me the A8 is all about battery efficiency rather than more speed.

i live in Germany with 75%+ and Spain of 85%+ Android marketshare (exaggergated numbers obvs) so i have no real choice 😛

no but compare apps from the early years to now and you see a difference you may not even notice cuz it happens gradually. The iPad 3 and < iPhone 5 cannot handle the Bioshock game for example.

Just noticed those photos, if you look on the website where they come from the Exif Data says they are photos from an iPhone 5S a, Nubia Z7 and Smartisan T1 all real phones, no iPhone 6 mentioned.

I was wondering the same. Browsed through the geekbench 3 results but couldn't find the corresponding results. 🙄 But maybe he didn't upload the result?
