Thats a good spot, looking at one of the pictures it looks as though something is routed there from the bottom. Would gripping or covering the logo not effect the signal though?
Lol. Have you seen the iPod touch lately? It features the same design as the iPad mini and iPad air, and it was available in stores even before these devices were announced.
It actually looks pretty real. I'd buy one. What would be the assumed vertical dimension if the horizontal is 2.6 inches?
Probably a new ipod touch
First of all why on earth wouldn't they have done that before. Secondly, and more importantly , how would the human body (being the hand) not interfere with the signal? Is it possible to simply have a plastic Apple logo, rather than a plastic band? Maybe that's how it is all metal...
You argued that if it's an iPod touch, the iPhone would probably get a similar design. The iPod touch has had a design similar to this for almost 18 months now, so you're reasoning is incorrect. And you reiterated what I meant by my post. Meaning if what is pictured is in fact an iPod and not an iphone, we can expect the iphone to be very similar. (If these photos are real in the first place).
So...![]()
Have you got an iPhone 5 or 5S? If so put your fingers over the bands. You will see that if you repeat the test over and over again there is no correlation between the placement of your fingers and the signal strength.First of all why on earth wouldn't they have done that before. Secondly, and more importantly , how would the human body (being the hand) not interfere with the signal?
It looks quite attractive, but like it would be absolutely horrible to use ergonomically :-( And thinness over battery life again.
I like this theory. That would be a very slick Apple-like solution. Is it possible to simply have a plastic Apple logo, rather than a plastic band? Maybe that's how it is all metal...
Says iphone on the back. Has the LED flash from 5S it's defo an Iphone.

The iPod touch already looks like this, so if these photos are an iPod, then it's almost the same as the current iPod, not so exciting.
