I can't even tell you how much I hate the double tap for multi-task. It feels archaic

I actually like it because I think it's better than having a dedicated button however if Apple can put in some gestures for multitasking I'd be down.

Yes, this is the most credible rumor yet. I'd peg this as the 4.7" version (give or take a bit). I suspect that the 5.5" version may be a ruse. For all the talk about the Note 3, it's the Galaxy S4 (and soon to be S5) where Samsung makes most of its money.

Yes, I would pay a lot of money for one of these, just look at it, surely its got to of been designed by Apple...

Making the iPhone thinner and rounding the edges just wouldn't make any sense. We've already seen it: just remember the original iPhone, iPhone 3G and 3GS, they all had round corners Apple replaced with edgie corners since the debut of the iPhone 4, which gave it a much better and secure grip.

If you have any doubt, just try holding an iPod touch (which is pretty close to the (fake) prototypes) like a phone to your ear and see if this works ...

My only concern is the all aluminium backplate. Something that may not be possible for a phone with respect to antenna placement.

Possibly iPod Touch?

Makes sense they want all their products to look the same. I was waiting for them to make the iPhone design similar to the iPad line

"Liquid metal" its been rumored for awhile now, and wouldn't need the cut outs for radio

Didn't check if someone already said this, but the way the lightning connector goes in, there's no room for the touch sensor assembly under the home button! Even if it was reduced to only 1mm it doesn't look like it would fit.

Otherwise it looks real enough though.

there you go. It looks to have a very similar footprint to the iPhone 5S, but a much bigger screen (about 4,5")

Lol it is a Galaxy S4 with the bottom portion of an iPhone 5s merged. The back is an iPod touch with a light hole merged in and an upward-shifted logo.

I mean... neat concept, but that is definitely a merged photo with an S4, as the top portion with the speaker, sensor, and camera are identical to the S4... so that's really dumb. I wouldn't want my iPhone to even remotely resemble that thing.

Funny how this is said about every single rumored iPhone lol.

Probably because they have basically been the same other than the 5C. The 5C is easier to grip and less likely to slip out of your hand, but personally I don't care for the design. The Moto X fits the hand well and is easy to hold onto. I personally find slippery phones to be a bit annoying, they are much easier to drop.

Shrunken iPad Air / Mini

As predicted by many on this forum, looks like Apple are applying the same design style from the iPad line down to the iPhone.

I actually quite like it!

At 9to5Mac, one of the commenters speculated that this could be LiquidMetal. That would obviate the need for an antenna window.

Wow that is freakin nice, hopefully they are real. Very understated design but with that Apple look. I can't wait to actually have a 5.5" iphone if the rumors are true. I know Apple pays attention to things like one handed use so having no bezel and having the phone be narrower will be nice.

Thats an iPod, the iPhone antennas will not work in an iPod like shell. Too sad since the iPod gray is my dream iPhone

Wow... I'll take one please! 64gb, white and silver, 5.5 inch....

It's embarrassing for Apple if this is the new iPhone set to be launched in sept. It leaked 7 months early! Someone in security will prob get canned for this.

Here's to hoping for a July launch... :)

Why are you so surprised? This happens every year...

Why would an iPod need a silencer and sim tray? And why would an iPod touch say iPhone on the back plate?
