I like the principle design, but the screen is far too big. This looks more like phablet territory and I don't think Apple would go that far this year, it's not very ergonomic. How the hell are we supposed to use the alleged health & fitness features if its too damn big to carry around with you when you workout?

Yes, i know iWatch would solve that, but it would be daft to sell the phone on features that virtually can't be used without buying an extra device.

I think 4.7 inches would be big enough. There are still far less Galaxy note's sold than Galaxy S3/4's. 5.5 inches would be a waste of time and money, this year at least.

It looks legit enough, but it could just be an android knock off based on an aforementioned render.

If that's not an iPod, we can say goodbye to battery life.

My 5s drops 15-20% / hr with average use (voice + data, no gaming no video)

I can't imagine a thinner iPhone will do anything good for battery life, even if the battery gets a touch taller and wider to make up for reduced thickness and following the wider and taller casing.

Try resetting it. My battery lasts a lot longer. In any case, don't underestimate the impact of a wider and taller case. IIRC, the main reason Samsung released a bigger screen phone in the first place was to fit in a bigger battery. They stumbled upon a hit design.

it's a render.. no one ever made so many photos of a prototype shell, and a fully assembled device.. it's too early for that. Asymmetrical bezels are not very Apple style (fortunately), and there are no windows for cellular signal.

Pretty sure this is an iPod. Makes sense; FaceTime Audio would need a speaker/mic in the same configuration of an iPhone now... BUT, there's no window for the cellular radios (hence, probably not a phone).

Wifi can deal with the aluminum, but the cellular would need something not metal.

Looks like Apple is taking a page from the Samsung playbook this go around.

It looks like you've narrowed the leaked part when you applied a transform. The screen looks wider than this on the original photo.

Expect some errors, I'm at bed using my laptop on my chest , buy you get an idea comparing the home buttons that are almost identical.

Heres another photoshop:

Why is there a blue line across the bottom of the screen in one of the pictures?...

Really hope this is fake. If not, I hope it comes in a 4" option :(

I've got a damn near perfect record of sniffing out fakes, and this looks legit. I like it; if it does turn out to be a fake I'll be bummed.

Yes there is, at the front of the phone.

Might be surprised by the actual device if this turns up to be real, but I didn't like the front design in these pictures at all.

Asymmetrical top/bottom bezels seems very un-apple. They have made a point to always make their devices orientation-agnostic. Other than that, looks great.

Here's hoping it's real - I love it! My take on the dimensions:

Device
Height 137.9mm
Width 62.8mm
Depth ~6mm

Screen
Diagonal 5.11inches
Height 114mm
Width 62.4mm

For all of you saying there is no window for cellular, well, if this is a prototype they most likely would not bother milling out a window and then wasting time creating a plastic window that would have no functionality in a prototype anyway. This would be a prototype version for the form of the phone, a functioning version would be made after this version if they choose this design
