One thing I've seen questioned but haven't seen an answer to I don't think. How are they antenna breaks if they don't penetrate the shell? Would they be directly connected to the antennas from the inside?

I dont care what it looks like since I'll probably will cover it in a case anyway. Just bring it out already ! Cannot wait ! ~.~

That being said, I think iphone 5/5S have the best design out of all the iphones.

is it covered in some film cuz that color tone looks rather weird and almost dirty

I'm beginning to think that the people who are predicting that the lines will be covered by something else, are probably right. A spray coating or another thin shell of material, or ??

It looks somewhat like the inside of the HTC One metal shell. Meaning, the plastic breaks and metal sections have been fused together, so in a photo it might look like there's no breaks.

The HTC One bottom break is clearer, but both top sections look plastic from the inside, even though they're metal on the outside.

At least, that's the way it looks to me.

Apple needs to start buckling down more.....all these rumors of Apple products/pictures on the most part become true.

I watched the WWDC live and to be honest, I read about everything already online from websites like this...hardly any surprises anymore.

example: new iphone will have rounded corners (leaked), new iphone will have power button on side (leaked)

What happen to the days when we would be surprised by what Apple announces on presentation day? I remember when Steven Jobs would host the conferences, it was like the audience was on pins and needles, edge of their seats just waiting for the words to flow off his mouth about what was new. Does anyone miss those days?

Then you should tell me which sites you have been following, because I would love to have all the inside information :) Or maybe you just missed half of the WWDC keynote, because it was full of surprises!

- A new design for Mac OS X: we knew it was coming, but no screenshots where leaked
- Continuity: especially making phone calls and sending text messages from your Mac, but also continuing where you left off and the instant hotspot
- 3rd party Notification Center widgets: something nobody expected to happen
- 3rd party keyboards: something nobody expected to happen
- iCloud Drive: obvious but still new
- Swift: a whole new programming language

And many many small changes not even mentioned (just check the iOS 8 and Yosemite forums here).

People here are just so negative, have impossible expectations or are just trolling. Also looking at this iPhone 6 design, history repeats itself. iPhone 4 was left in a bar, everybody hated the design "this is definitely not something would design", the seams would never happen and when it was presented and explained it was ok and now suddenly it's everybody's favorite iPhone design. The same will happen with the iPhone 6. In 1 year everybody will love it and say it was the best designed iPhone ever.

And a note on leaking parts. I think this iPhone has the least leaked parts since the original iPhone. With all the previous iPhones first all kinds of connectors would leak, then the camera module, then the screen and then the back (or just the entire iPhone like with the 4). Now, we have some possible frontpanel and this. All the Chinese mockups don't kind as they are based on the same rumors we read.

I like that curved edge coming out from the side of the phone. Please Apple, don't make us wait until September.

Ditto the above!

I like to see a 5" as the smaller size follow by 5.5". I think the 4.7" is to small after using a Moto X for three days.

I agree, I think those antenna breaks will bring more personality to it, must not judge an apple design on spy picture. As for me I already like it :D

I like your rendering of the iPhone 6!

Wow. Looks like they're really doing it. Started window shopping for 4" Android phones...

I will not be seen with a gigantic ghetto phone and Dr. Dreck headphonez. Stupid. Apple will pretty soon be back to where they've been once before. A cheapened brand with buggy systems and applications.

Nothing indicates that at all. Good luck on your search though. There are only a few decent 4-4.3" android phones and don't believe any are flagships.

Lines...

I actually think the lines on the back of the Black or White iPhone 6 mock-ups I've seen look OK - the Gold one - not so much but I wouldn't get that colour anyway. Now if they can just get them to light up "Tron" style along with the cut-out Apple logo, that would be cool. :)

Jony was noticeably absent from the WWDC Keynote. I was expecting one of his white-background videos.

I don't. I like to use "volume up" as a camera shutter (since that functionality exists). With the power button directly opposite, I'll be shutting the phone down every time I take a landscape photo (just like what happens on a Galaxy S5). Bad ergonomics if you ask me.

I also like the fact that one of the sides of my iPhone 5 is flat, so I can stand the phone up on it - useful for hands-free Skype/Facetime or video watching... though that isn't going to work with rounded edges anyway.

Why move it anyway? What's wrong with the top edge? I guess it might be a pain on a large phone, but I don't want one of those anyway, I want a phone I can fit in my back pocket and still sit down without bending it. iPhone 5 is already a bit long actually. This new phone looks like it would fail that test.

Yep.

People are taking the most incredible pictures with their phones ... but yet they seem to be unable to take a decent photo of an immobile object they hold in their hands.

This is the 10.000.000.000 mockup for case makers ... or a cheap clone.

If Apple even uses these stripes, they would make them prettier than this.

You're in denial. I'm not a fan of the breaks either, but this is the new iPhone.

Anyone here have a good reason as to why Apple don't color match their antenna cutouts? Looked really weird in both 5 and 5s, and it seems if they will not color match the antenna breaks on iPhone 6.

For me i like the general style of the leaked version of iPhone 6 but would be much nicer with color matched antenna breaks. Anyway, it will be some time before we know for definite.

I agree. After having an S5 with a 5.1" screen for the last 3 months I've become quite used to it. Not sure if I'd be comfortable going down to 4.7, and thinking 5.5 will be too much. Only one way to find out, and if I find either feels good I'll highly likely come back to apple. Screen size is the only reason I left, that's about to change.

Shell cutouts for the Apple logo are not uncommon for iOS devices, although they have not been seen on the iPhone before.

This is NOT correct. The original iPhone had a chrome logo embedded through a cut out in the aluminium shell. Actually, this design reminds me a lot of the very first iPhone which in my opinion was beautiful. The only thing I never liked was the plastic antenna cover but I guess Apple can come up with something better a few years later...

If this is in fact the shell of the new iPhone I bet the apple logo will be chrome, black chrome and gold for the silver, space gray and gold iPhones respectively.

I'm looking forward for it! I hope the increase in the size of the screen does not affect the overall size of the device too much. As Steve used to say, a phone must be designed to be used single-handed.

The breaks will be there ... no doubt. I just think the design will not look that dull. Therefore: Mockup.

"but also the iconic Apple logo."

They spelt it wrong :)

How ironic.

Looks like a sticker from the tea house..

(Mary Jo Foley would be interested in this one)

Now that they have touch id. I'd be nice if they got rid of the click portion of The hone button

.....isn't the camera flash cutout on the current iPhone 5S, an oval shape? How can the camera flash on these mock ups, go back to a round design (as in the iPhone 5)?

....sorry, but I am not convinced that we have seen the design of the iPhone 6 yet.

see what happens when you choose to listen to the public instead of continuing making the products you've been for years

you get this samsung-****-looking-ugly-phone

It's a wider and taller shell, and it is only maybe a millimeter thinner.
I don't understand all of these people talking about battery loss. Look at iPad internals

1mm thinner means much less volume.. if the device is 1mm taller and 1mm wider but if it is 1mm thinner, the volume of the device will be much less.. I don't have the actual specs but it seems that the 5s is more volumous than the 6 (guessing)
