Another fake. In any case I'm hopeful that the breaks being shown in all these mock ups aren't so obtrusive and cosmetically ugly. It's hard to believe Apple would use this cosmetic combo for the 6

A one-piece, rounded edge iPhone 6 will get my 5c retired one year early. One no contract, 64 or 128 (hopefully) iPhone six sold. Ouch.

I don't understand why the antennae breaks are visible as a unique material on the outside but the inside looks like solid metal.

Not much different from the iPhone 5.

I assume those breaks are for the antenna system. But as you note, they don't cut all the way through. I can't believe they would be purely aesthetic.

But then, if you want a seamless back, you could always get a 5c. :)

Any gains will be (at least partly) offset by the extra power draw from the larger screen.

Well iPads have much better battery life plus screen isn't the only thing that draws power, everything else will draw either the equal amount of power or less with improved A8 chip.

wow the thickness of those separators on the back, ugly... Apart from that looks nice ;)

I'll bet the separators will be the same color as the body, so my guess is that you will hardly notice them. And since everyone seems to use a case,it won't matter anyway.

This may be a lighting problem, or the part didn't yet receive all the necessary polishing, but this shade of gold looks quite horrendous compared to the current one on 5s.

Maybe it's just me, who knows.

Pretty sure it's space grey or whatever they decide to call 'black'. The antenna breaks are black and it definitely looks more grey than gold to me.

Really wouldn't be surprised if this was real. Apple have a talent for letting their products leak before launch. I don't mind it though. Kind if like the shape :)

So no dual led flash? I really got used to it, hopefully they don't go back to the old mono flash

With all the things apple has managed to achieve in the past, I'm sure they could think up a way to put the dual led's into a circular inclosure.

if those plastic breaks are for signals to pass through, how come the inside view doesn't show the same plastic break, but rather a continuous metal sheet?

can anyone explain this?

It would be cool if Apple got rid of the antenna breaks and use the apple logo window cutout instead.

The design of iOS 8 and the hardware of iPhone seems to be getting uglier. I think Jony has lost his touch. Those breaks on the back make the iPhone look cheap.

If you feel this way, don't you think that at least one high-level executive at Apple also feels this way? If that were so, it would lead to extensive discussions about this exact issue. Don't judge Jony prematurely.

As for your thoughts of iOS 8 "getting uglier", please point to one solid example. It's different and new, so maybe that's the only reason you don't like it? Please, enlighten us.

what if the separators are made of an elastic rubber plastic kind of material that can absorb the shock of a drop, leading to less cracking of the display?

Yah, these "leaks" are definitely suspicious. If they represent the final product, I, too, will be mind-blown. I doubt that will be the case (pun intended).

At least it's safe to say the iPhone 6 will look like this. The leaks are getting consistent.

Of course, they could all be consistently wrong too.

Not really, i mean yes 5c is seamless back, BUT if they do the antenna system go through the apple logo(like wifi in the iMac) they can make a seamless back

Don't judge Jony prematurely.

Jony was noticeably absent from the WWDC Keynote. I was expecting one of his white-background videos.

Give me a power button on the side. I don't care if it's 4.7in or if its made of paper, I just want a side power button.

I don't. I like to use "volume up" as a camera shutter (since that functionality exists). With the power button directly opposite, I'll be shutting the phone down every time I take a landscape photo (just like what happens on a Galaxy S5). Bad ergonomics if you ask me.

I also like the fact that one of the sides of my iPhone 5 is flat, so I can stand the phone up on it - useful for hands-free Skype/Facetime or video watching... though that isn't going to work with rounded edges anyway.

Why move it anyway? What's wrong with the top edge? I guess it might be a pain on a large phone, but I don't want one of those anyway, I want a phone I can fit in my back pocket and still sit down without bending it. iPhone 5 is already a bit long actually. This new phone looks like it would fail that test.

Don't feed the samsung paid troll - Joined 2012. All he and his like do is post odd negative posts actually slagging off the designers etc rather than the product directly. It's cheap psychological warfare.
