It would be really un-Apple to have the refresh rate options in the final product.

So, based on PVT
-Promotion is here
-slimmer bezels
-same notch (but thank god with the slimmer bezels)
-Lidar sensor
-A14 5nm
-flat design

Yeah, I don't use 24 hour time. Can't get it to show if it's there.

1. Change your region to Switzerland.

2. Turn off 24-Hour Time (it gets turned on automatically for Switzerland).

It would be trivial to write an app in Xcode to create arbitrary "High Refresh" and "Camera Features" toggles.

Very important to emphasize that both Prosser and Weinbach are saying this is still a PVT model, half them do not have this option, meaning this is still something that has the chance of not coming to fruition

This is NOT a confirmation of 120Hz, simply that Apple is TRYING their BEST to get it done this year

For what it’s worth max is saying no 120hz on the iPhones this year...he said 1% chance

Saying a fast charger isn’t included in the box is just fishing for attention.

That is literally not news, it tells us nothing about the inclusion of a “power adapter”.

I want 120 Hz if it’s not gonna mess with the price, it’s not gonna mess with the battery life, it’s not gonna mess with color accuracy, and it’s not gonna mess with processor speed. If it messes with any of those, I don’t want it. Apple can save it until they can implement it properly with LTPO technology, which is rumored for next year.
Steve Jobs was a person who would delay and delay a feature until they got it absolutely the way they wanted it. He would never rush anything, even if they had to have a new version of the device out every single year. That’s why the iPod touch third GEN didn’t have a camera, but the fourth GEN did. Even though there were rumors that the third GEN wood up until the day before it was announced.
That’s why they never stuffed a G5 into a powerbook, no matter how many customers bugged them too.
That’s why adding a retina display to the second generation iPad was scrapped about a month before it came out. The original A5 chip just could not handle it, so it was delayed for the third generation iPad. The info about that retina display had already been rumored for months, we had the exact resolution and everything. And it was scrapped just a month before the product was announced. So no, this isn’t new for Apple. They wait until they can have perfection, and if they can’t, then the feature will be scrapped and saved for a later date.
Keep this in mind, if you enable 120 Hz on the galaxy S 20, the resolution gets down scale to 1080 P. They just cannot handle both a high resolution at a high refresh rate at the same time. Apple would never compromise like that
Every time people bring up Steve Jobs it makes me cringe. 😖

How bout you hold off your worries until things have been revealed and not base your concerns and criticism on rumors. Let alone rumors coming from Jon Pussor and EverythingAppleID.

I know it's only a render but the thinner bezels make the notch look even bigger and more silly.

If there’s no real change to design and just new cameras and 120hz... yeah nah. I’ll hang onto my xsmax for a bit longer. Has zero issues. Also has force touch which I love for the keyboard.
out of contract this year. Usually get a new phone every two years. Apple need to get creative again.

This definitely looks like a developer-oriented screen for debugging and seems quite real.

Happy to see 120Hz is actually in the works. It really makes a huge difference on the iPad Pro and would definitely consider upgrading for that.

It seems like iPhone development is on hold before somthings really great.
Still whaiting for usb-c...

weird, I’ve been using an iPhone for almost 10 years, and I’ve never had a problem with the scrolling. neither has anyone else I know or I’ve heard of who has been using an iPhone for the last several years.
Therefore, it is not a must. It is a want of yours

Try it on an iPad Pro....your view of the world will be transformed.....

In 2020 no 120 Hz = no party. Apple has no right not to add this feature to the nearest flagships. Especially considering that the very first started making Pro Motion screens for the iPad Pro.

looks like only the Pro models will be 120 hz

Today we have OLED on the 11 Pro and LCD on the 11.
It makes sense to have a better display on the Pro as you pay a premium price. Having only one more camera isn't enough to make it "Pro" and cost a lot more.
OLED 60Hz on the 12 and 120Hz on the 12 Pro seems like a good compromise, we'll finally have OLED on the entire lineup but the Pro will continue to have a better display.

Looks like it doesn’t work in the US. I’m in the UK

Optimistic me -> The other PVT models without 120hz are the PVT models for the baseline iPhone 12 series, and they're all running the same software - hence the warning of enabling 120hz on unsupported models

Pessimistic me -> Apple gave out some 120hz prototype models to guys they think are leaking stuff to catch them out, just going with 60hz on the Pro.

Update: EverythingApplePro has also shared the same screenshots on an alleged iPhone 12 Pro Max test device. Curiously, these screenshots show an "AM" next to the time, which is allegedly visible due to the extra display space on either side of the device.

You were always able to add AM/PM, even on iPhone X running iOS 13. It's in the settings... We all know Apple scales up the UI on bigger screen phones, so the 'extra space' remark doesn't apply.
