shipping to canada comes up at $20 which is more than I would like to pay but less than element charges...but the site is still under construction so things may change...who knows
When you are not happy with an item and return it, the shipping both ways is not usually refunded. By Alumacase charging a lower price on case, and high price on shipping, they make a profit on each case returned. Also, if it is gonna cost you $20 bucks in shipping charges, plus the cost or shipping it back to them, you will now have about $25-$30 bucks lost when you return it. Might be enough to make you keep it instead of returning it right?

Yeah it's a good, simple website but I still wouldn't pay $60 for this case. As "affordable" as they said the case would be, this isn't the price point I envisioned (add in the $20 shipping and you can forget about it). Hopefully some changes will be made.
I've been watching this thread for awhile now.The case looks amazing. However, the shipping price is pretty ridiculous. I also see an issue with the sleep button being so indented into the case - shouldn't there be a notch in the back so you can reach it easier?

I wonder if this has been fixed, because I'm only being charged $5 for shipping. I haven't ordered yet, because of the paypal problem but my total order is $64.95.

Me too. I use the button so much, that really could be a deal breaker for me. I've been using the bumper on my phone since the second day I've had it, and one of the things I love about it is the integrated buttons. I know it gets a bad rap, but there are times when I really forget that there is something on the phone. I love the look of this case, but if I'm going to have to work to push the sleep/wake button, that would get old really quickly. And for 65 bucks....
Just wanted to see if Alumacase could get an answer for us on that one.

It's nice having someone actually making an attempt to connect and inform the community.
Good job, product looks sick. I just hope it can really succeed over the Vapor/others which in my opinion just aren't worth it.

The first day launching a site and putting a new product up for sale is surely keeping them all busy. I have no doubt he'll be back on here to honor his promise.
Sorry if this has been answered already but, these work with screen protectors on them? No bubbling will occur correct?
