I really forget it's there and when I do, I can't find a reason to use it. It does nothing faster for me. I'm basically getting nothing from the 6s+ other than the increase in performance over the 6+

You have to make a conscious effort to make yourself to use it the first few days of owning a 6S until it becomes routine - once you get used to it and become fluent in what it can do it/what options specific apps offer it does speed up time, just got to stick with it and really focus on using it.

Plus try getting used to the peep and pop in Safari, it's one of the more genuinely useful options with 3D.

Question, why did you upgrade in the first place?
My reason why multiple......
3D Touch, faster processor better graphics 4K video better wi fi bands and better camera.

I use the quick actions a bit, peek and pop a bit less, but I use the deep press swipe for the task switcher quite often and the deep press on the keyboard to activate the trackpad all the time. That feature alone is worth it for me.

Being an OG iPhone user it takes time to use the new features but 3D Touch is one I love a lot.

In order:

RAM
No lag, no stutter, no freezing.
I never upgrade for things like Touch ID, Apple Pay and 3D Touch. I do however use 3D Touch, minimally.

I also forget it's there but I do find it useful. It's just a learning curve but once more apps incorporate it into their system I'm sure it will become second nature.

Takes some getting used to. But I use it mainly for the camera to pick either selfie or photo. Deep press for task manager is one of my favorites. I also love using it in instagram a lot.

I agree it took a few hours for me to get use to or remember the feature. On day 2. I noticed how great the feature was and the possibility. Now I use it more and more each day. I believe this a game changer. On the level of physical keyboard to virtual keyboard. In a couple of years other device makers will incorporate it (Samsung ). Lol

I upgraded because I do every year. I don't use it for messages because it basically only shows the latest people I texted or new message. Quicker really to just open messages. I don't use it for mail because why do I need it to take me to inbox when clicking the mail icon takes me there. I could see using it for the camera features but I forget to. The peek in photos makes no sense...I'm peeking with the thumbnails and open the pic I want full screen. I also don't use Safari, I use chrome. Like someone else said, you just have to make an effort and find use for it. Just my opinion

Force yourself to use the feature for a day. The next day you will use it more. The after you will appreciate it. Start by using 3D Touch for safari and camera app. Try using it for quick messages. Calendar inputs or peeking at web links. It's a game changer for me.

I use it quite a bit. Being able to go directly to the type of camera I want to use is nice (video, photo, pano) I have phone favorites so force touching lets me choose very quickly who to call, the search nearby option in Maps is quicker to use.

Track pad is nice with it. The contact suggestions on the messaging and phone icon suck though. Mine are never who I'm looking for and to my knowledge you can't change them.

I've played around with it but I haven't used it much yet. I'm sure I'll use it more after I've had my phone longer. Maps > Directions Home is going to be awesome to have while driving. My favorite 3D touch feature so far.

I can see it becoming useful to me on the Phone app for frequent contacts in a couple of weeks. That's way faster then tapping into the Phone app and going to recent contacts. As far as the rest of 3D Touch, that will depend on what app developers do. It's VERY early days...

which is not much in real usage. A9 is 30% faster on pager.

Au contraire. The 6S+ absolutely smokes the 6+. I actually *had* to upgrade because the 6+ was such a laggy, stuttering and freezing RAMless POS. The jump from 6+ to 6S+ is actually considerably bigger than from the iPhone 5 to the 6+. It's not just the CPU performance increase but the GPU and RAM too. As a package they make a considerable difference.

I wish there were more system wide places to use it. Say, pressing in an empty place on the home screen to bring up changing the wallpaper, or icon size.

I also really wish there were 3D Touch contextual menu items like "search google", or "search eBay", "search Wikipedia", etc. for highlighted words. Or highlighting a phone number to add to contacts, or a URL to add to bookmarks or the reading list. How about force pressing a photo to open a menu of apps to open it in? Instagram, share in Facebook, edit in Snapseed, etc...

There are so many unrealized ways to use 3D Touch that I find it rather limited in its current state.

I use it daily but it will take a while till it's part of your whole day until more apps take advantage of it.

it's very useful for camera and photos..thats where i use it the most

I totally understand what you mean. Right now it's more fun than anything but once the majority of apps support it I think that's all we will be using.
