The deep press app switcher could use some work. I have to push real hard and it's right on the bezel.

Yep, it's like Siri. You really have to force (no pun intended) yourself to use it or you will forget it exists. Day 5 of my 6S Plus and I still forget the feature's there.

Peeking in on web links is A+. Same with emails. It took a few days to get used to it but man, once you start to use it, what a treat. Looking forward to more apps implementing this.
Yes. I'm enjoying this 3D Touch more and more each day. I can only imagine how quick the OS will be. With a iPhone full of app capability. I'm hoping by Christmas my banking and credit card apps have this feature available. Facebook and Twitter should be following Instagram and updating there apps soon.

Question, why did you upgrade in the first place?
My reason why multiple......
3D Touch, faster processor better graphics 4K video better wi fi bands and better camera.

For me the performance boost alone makes the upgrade worthwhile even without the new features.

I love it and use it often. Especially in this forum. I press on the thread name to peek and see what it's about instead of going all the way into it. I love it on IG also. Now just waiting for FB to update so I can use it on there as well.

That is sad. Should have been in the 6 from the start :/

But then again, there'd be no reason left for people to throw their money at Apple on the 6S.

You guys won't believe this, but I restored my 6+ with all my 6s+ data, boxed up the 6s+ and plan to return it tomorrow. It's replacement, which I ordered, is a Nexus 6p. Never had a Nexus and curious to see how they perform with vanilla Android.

So you can peek at your balance, think 'eww' and then quickly come out again? :D

I really forget it's there and when I do, I can't find a reason to use it. It does nothing faster for me. I'm basically getting nothing from the 6s+ other than the increase in performance over the 6+

I sometimes have to force myself to remember. What I mean is I have several times found myself still going directly into an email to view and delete a long string of unread mail and I will purposefully go back out to the list view and use 3D touch to do it. I am trying to train myself to use it but it doesn't really seem like it is that useful FOR ME yet.

If we could decide who's name appears with 3D touch on phone and messages I would use it more for sure. If it let you go to one of your radio stations instead of B1 I may have kept my iTunes music account or whatever it was called that ended on the 30th. It wasn't a "bad" service, spotify is just better for now to me. I would use it more on the camera but I'm not a teenage girl taking selfies 50x's a second ( http://bit.ly/1VqCyv9 ). I would use it to see my cool wallpaper move, but touch ID is too fast. I have a feeling it will move into something we use a lot but not yet for me.

I used 3D Touch to preview this thread to make sure it was worth reading.

I have tried to "preview" links but all i seem to see is usually the banner of whatever website. Is there some way to scroll down and actually see the posts while 'peeking' or whatever the gesture is called?

I use it for certain things like camera. Most often though it goes unused. Really though, if you didn't upgrade for performance reasons, then you wasted your money. Nothing on here is worthwhile besides the processor/ram boost. For those (which is everyone who has one) with an iphone 6 plus that lagged, stuttered, refreshed apps and safari tabs endlessly, this upgrade has been very worthwhile.

If you're the ignorant type that didn't notice how sad the iphone 6 plus was, then you shouldn't have bothered with the S version.

agreed, I didn't officially decide to upgrade till we found out there was 2gb of ram. Games load so much fast, fallout shelter for example, and most things happen instantly. Like when clearing your notifications and you have to push the X then push clear, you can double tap the X now and it will clear because there isn't any lag waiting for it to say clear to tap again. Just small examples but they are the things that annoyed me before that I notice now and when you look at all those little things that are now gone due to speed and ram it was worth the update even without 3d touch.

I've noticed that not only does my super-long note that I add to several times a day stay in memory, but if I have to go to another note (which always annoyed me as I would then have to scroll down my massive note again afterwards) it instantly takes me straight to the end! It obviously keeps my position in the note in memory. I would have upgraded *just* for this. The RAM makes ALL the difference. Speedy webpage loading is just the icing on the cake.

Actually I've been using 3D Touch for app switching. It's more convenient than using the home button and will probably mean less wear and tear on said button. The home button on my old iPad is worn out and you really have to press hard for it to work. So I know those things do wear out.

You needed to add uses often to the list, which is my case. I think it will be used more and more as other apps add the 3D touch feature to their apps.

Still use it daily for camera, calendar and Instagram

Hopefully more apps start to work with it. Think it's pointless buying the new phone if you don't take advantage of what it offers

I'm not using it. Double tap the home button to bring up the app switcher is faster and cormfortable as these Force-Touch crap.

Count me in, I have it disabled in settings on my 6S. I may turn it on in the future as more apps support it probably sometime in 2017.

I actually find 3D Touch multitasking much faster in keeping with the flow of what I'm doing. I love going back to the last app with a 3D Touch swipe as well.
