Am I the only one obsessed with buying cases? (Pt. 3)

I just got mine yesterday. Somehow it feels different from the first Sheath that I had, but maybe because I used the Apple Silicone for a couple weeks in between. I’m liking it so far.
I reckon it’s a great slim case with 6ft drop protection, covers bottom, great grip, doesn’t mark, doesn’t matter if gets wet, and is bit silmmer than Apple leather, feels great to hold, isn’t saggy or loose just moulds to the shape of the phone, buttons excellent. Gives you enough lip with a glass protector to lay face down but doesn’t interfere with swiping. Can’t fault it.

My first wallet case has arrived for my 8 Plus from Ryan London and quite like it! It feels slimmer than the couple of wallet cases I checked out at the Apple Store.

I have tried several of this style wallet case but have always found that whenever you close the case, because the cards then touch the screen of the phone, they tend to leave marks on the screen....
Yeah, same happens with this wallet case, but I also have a glass screen protector on the phone so not as much of a concern.
I received my Classic C1 from Spigen this week. While the case looks really cool, and as an "old geek" I'm happy to own one, I won't be using it on a daily basis as it feels a bit too clunky on my hands.
The colour is actually more green ("lagoon") than the blue on the photos shows.

Talk about obsession! I have had 5 different cases in the past 5 months, silicone and leather ones from Apple, a custom one from Casetify, and recently ordered one from Kulor Cases (which I found from this thread: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/open-bottom-cases-for-iphone-x.2093277/).
I actually kinda like it as I'm a natural leather person. It's slim and feels pretty good in my hand.

You definitely have come to the right place! I like the look of that case.. do they make it for the X I wonder?
Those look great. It's a shame they have the button cutouts rather than the metal type (or even seamless leather covering like the Apple leather of old).
Indeed, I think it's bulky, too. Would look nice on a smaller iPhone but on the X, it's just too much.

there were a couple of concerns. The rubber, while thick and definitely protective, was not firm to the phone. All 4 sides could be pulled away easily. Also, the back (aramid fiber) was very finger print prone

Had to return it. The edges on the bottom part were very sharp, so it made the phone very uncomfortable to hold after even just a few minutes.
Overall it's a solid case though. It looks and feels like the phone can take quite a tumble without any damage.

I love the fit, finish, and feel of the Apple Silicone case a lot. But I just can't get past those two issues. I hate that it's hard to get out of my jean pockets, and when I do, there's lint around the edges. Bleh.
So I've moved onto the Apple Leather Cases which I LOVE. After a week or so, it's just grippy enough in the hand, but still easy to get in/out of pockets and doesn't pick up lint. And the fit on the phone is just so precise.
I currently have the Black and the Electric Blue for my iPhone X. Wish they had more colors to choose from!! May also grab a Taupe since it looks close to Grey.
