I got a Galaxy Nexus because I was excited about ICS and I ended up going back to an iPhone after a week because of this very reason. If Apple can achieve a slightly larger screen without increasing the size of the hardware, then fine by me. I hope they eventually drop the home button and go with virtual buttons. It works great with ICS.

My Nexus is making me think about switching. It's solved all of the performance issues, and the only gripes I have with it are battery life and iTunes compatibility.

This is what will happen: During the keynote, the Apple team will explain why they're making a larger screen device. Only then will the adamant 3.5-ers eat up the magic and be convinced. Until then, it's wasted effort.

Hit the nail on the head, just wait for Papa Tim to tell you how amazing it is.

Not everyone of us are sheeple. I have an old aluminum (pre uni-body) MBP because I didn't buy into the hype of the crappy gloss screen.

Speaking specifically about adamant 3.5ers. Or people who insist that 3.5 is the perfect screen size. If the next Gen iPhone has a larger display will it be imperfect and will we see these same people criticize apple for making an egregious mistake, or will 4" be the new "perfect screen size?"

My point is I predict after the key note we'll see more.of the latter. They just need to hear it from apple.

I want to like large phones, but anything bigger than 4.3" is too big. I'd like a 3.7" screen in the next version.
