Are we not talking about this ridiculous attempt at a 'road bike'? 🤣

If Amazon's Kindle Unlimited software is any indication of their software in general, no way would I use it. its only books, but they can't tell you if you have already read a book until you download it (then only sometimes), they have a continue where you left off feature, that has the first 12 entries it are not yet published. Not to mention having to reboot the kindle so you can turn the pages, and application error? that is like Microsoft's blue screen of death

Some interesting stuff and ideas

Wish I trusted Amazon as far as I can see them. (I don't)
This. They have some really cool product ideas in the home space, but they don't give a damn about privacy. OTOH, we have Apple building things into Homekit like Homekit Secure Video with privacy in mind, but then they rely on lackluster 3rd party products to use it rather than building their own innovative products to push the market. It's a shame.

Bah. Wake me up when that drone product can keep me focused in my absent-mindedness; provide plans for its replacement in the event of its own demise; and help me keep Flubber in line. When that happens, then we can talk. 😉

What a BS event. Where’s the new Kindles? It’s been over 2 years. My Voyage is on its last legs…

While I question the viability of some of this stuff, I gotta admit, Apple's stuff often looks boring by comparison.

I prefer to think of it as Apple does not go in for gimicky hardware like facebook, google, amazon and microsoft do on a regular schedule.

The drone camera sounds pretty fun. lol
Yeah I'll be getting one of those. $250 is a no brainer for something that can you check on every room at different angles remotely. My Logi Circle cost $120 on sale.

Instead, it's just the same old proven hardware over and over again. New iPhone! New tablet! New computers!
AirPods are pretty exciting. So is M1.

What gimicky hardware has Microsoft made on a regular basis? I would also question your comment referring to Amazon too for some of their products.

I have to admit, all of this stuff is seriously cool tech. If it wasn't for the fact that I don't want Amazon listening in on me 24/7, I'd be all over it. I'm generally not a paranoid guy either.
