Three are listed in Electronics, with one in Software.

Edit: Scratch that, the category seems to come from the URI rather than the product database.

Aside from that tidbit, it's hardly newsworthy. Can we imagine them not updating iLife/iWork at MWSF?

Oh, and... would Amazon really have any insider info? No retailers get the inside scoop, and the ones that claim to are just jockeying for attention. They're just making a very educated guess, and I'd wager a fair chunk of money that they're bang on.

Of course what i am REALLY waiting for is some idea as to when Logic 8 may be out. But I expect we'll have to wait for one of the big Music Fairs for that.

What about any other products?

Does this mean we only get iLife and iWork at MWSF? :(

Steve: "So we've sold 2323598623458762340985238576 ipods this year and are using all of the profits to pay off the SEC so they don't arrest me, so we don't have anything new to offer you except *pause for dramatic effect, reach into pocket, pull out CD* iLife 07! Now with 10 more garageband loops!

Well, thank you for coming, and I hope to...oh wait, there is ONE MORE THING *reach into other pocket, pulls out CD* iWork 07! I know you've all been waiting for it: it is new, and now imprived with 7 brand new fonts! Thanks for coming and see you all next year! *walks off stage*"

XD. That made my evening. :D

Both iWork and iLife seem likely. But, I feel as if there is going to be something announced that none of us are expecting. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking.

Actually, they say Mac OS X Intel, Mac OS X

Which would imply two versions, one destined for Intel the other presumably for PowerPC.
I would expect one version to be Intel, the other Universal, otherwise people (like me) with a mix of PPC and Intel Macs would have to buy two copies.

I couldn't really see Apple bringing out 2 versions of their applications. They have been trying so hard to push the Universal Binary thing. They would set the wrong example to developers if they did.

I think this is just Amazon not having a clue yet.

I'm not sure what those other two were, but yesterday evening I was able to go to four placeholder pages and sign up for email notifications when each are ready to ship. Those four pages were titled:

iLife '07
iWork '07
Leapard
.Mac 2007

This isn't a theory a rumor, those are four Amazon.com pages I went to last night, very specifically listing those products, none with a specific release date, and was able to sign up for email notification when ready to ship. Oh, and three of those four pages disappeared from Amazon's site overnight.

Interestingly, only the Leopard page still remains.
