Amazon now has 11" 1.6 in stock for $1139

I don't believe them. It was "in stock" so I ordered earlier today (Wednesday), but the delivery estimate is not until Monday. This is even with Overnight Prime shipping.

Amazon is shipping my replacement next day which means ship out tomorrow with arrival on Friday, but yeah my confirmation also shows arrival on Monday. I hope this is just a system error that will be corrected when it actually ships tomorrow.

I noticed this before I even removed the shrink wrap. Someone at Amazon had taken inventory and put 4/128 MC969L code over the original sticker for the 2/64.

Is that credit for the shipping if you paid extra or is it free $$$ to you for your inconvenience?

They even wanted me to send it back to them at MY cost, I said no way, send a call tag.
 
I ordered mine last night at 8pm PST when they were "in stock." I haven't received any sort of shipping confirmation yet. I also chose overnight shipping with Prime. I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Whoa! Same here. I called to ask for a replacement and the CS rep is sending me the i5 4/128 for $850. Not bad considering the 30 minutes it took to get it straightened. ;)
 
I'm pretty sure that when they are "in stock" now, they are still actually only going to be in stock on Friday. Thus, the Monday' delivery date for overnight shipping.

I would read "in stock" to mean "available for purchase". And when they are "out of stock" or rollover to 3rd party sellers (i.e. J&R) then they are out of the allocated ones they expect to arrive on Friday.
 
I signed up for Amazon prime a while back. I get free 2-day shipping on almost everything. Paid for itself in about 3 purchases. :)
 
This just happened to me. Ordered the 128/4 and got the 64/4. I talked to a rep in chat, and he offered me a whooping $5 account credit! When I told him that amount of compensation was laughable, he offered another $5. Pretty disappointed, I don't know where you guys are getting all the generous reps, because honestly even $10 for this inconvenience is too low for me.

You can tell when something is literally in stock. It will say if you order in the next X hours/minutes you can get next day delivery. Currently it just says "in stock" and nothing about delivery, so I agree that just means they have a shipment coming in and you can order one in advance.
 
So, I just got a shipping confirmation notice with UPS tracking number on mine. When I ordered, they said it would ship on 7/29 with delivery 8/1 (I paid the $4 for overnight). Now, it says expected delivery tomorrow! I guess they got some in early. Let's just hope I actually get the 4/128 I ordered :)

$35 amazon credit. It was for inconvenience. At first she just wanted to refund me $5 but I wasn't having that.
 
Ordered mine Monday night when they said they would get stock on Friday and est delivery by Aug 3rd, turns out mine was shipped today and should be delivered by Friday. I hope I don't end up getting the 64/2...

When did you put in your order? I'm hoping I might get a pleasant surprise as well. My order confirmation told me to expect 8/1 for delivery as well, but maybe I'll get lucky... Regardless, got to love $4 for overnight shipping.
