Very desperate

Those who stuck with Apple stock (the greedy bunch, who never saw it coming) growing more and more desperate. Suck it!

Apple never took them to court, the court never decided that Cisco lost the trademark and the trademark was not forced to be shared.

Charlituna story is just fiction.

i bet him to put those "official court documents". If he doesn't do that, he is only fabricating a fable

Yep. As I said, he appears to have confused expert opinion at the time with a court ruling in his memory. It happens. But, again, his larger point was still reasonable.

To Brits all these reports saying Apple's going to call something the iTV is like a rumour saying the next Raspberry Pi is going to be called the CNN-HBO-ABC-NBC-box and they expect no legal problems whatsoever.

How is iRing revolutionary, don't Samsung already offer models with motion detection like on the xBox that don't require a special ring? Also Leap Motion will soon release a tiny unit to bring the tech to PC and Mac.

I was hoping something like that could have been part of the new iMac, maybe next year it can be built-in?

Not Going to Happen

This has to be the most ridiculous rumor I've heard. This one definitely gets the finger.

Yeah sure Apple is going to bring out another 9.7inch iPad like device that is not an iPad. That makes perfect sense.

I was engaged by this article and passed it as legible until I read that.

The biggest complaint about purchasers buying TVs is that they didn't go big enough. Strange, isn't it? It's because they're getting used to what should be current standards, but technology had to catch up.

On what planet do you live where 60" is small for most living rooms?

I mean, I'm sure most people (including yourself) think it's a big size but that's only because TVs have only just begun getting into the 60"+ range in the last few years.

The proper size for a typical living room (I'm guessing 10' from viewing to screen) should be about 65" so no, I don't consider 60" large but merely adequate.

You're American, right?

I don't get it. Are Americans supposedly more educated on the proper benefits of screen size vs. viewing distance? Sorry the rest of the world thinks that they can see the benefits of a 50" 1080P (vs. 720) display from 15 feet away.

Do some research. :)

Who the hell are these analysts who are OBVIOUSLY wrong.

Premium TV range, and I'm talking about the top of top, like Samsung 55" 4K TVs, are not even release to consumer market and cost $15.000...

Where did that "analysts" come from ?

I'll believe this when i see it in stores.

Its not even out yet, and people are already toss all these "cool" features they *reckon* they know ..

(till it all changes at the last minute) :) I can't wait to see that.

People got all hyped up about the Mac Pro, and some still are by then end of 2013.

Agree. I just got a new 60" Samsung 1080p (that was the largest that would fit into my viewing space without remodeling the house), and paid about $3K for a high end model. (It did include a Galaxy Tab 2 as an "auxiliary viewing screen" for that price, however.)

I would love to get a kilo of the weed that the analyst who claimed $1.5K for a 60" Apple 4K screen was smoking.

Oh, AppleScruff1, shame on you!!!

As I am one who is often pompous and pedantic, and has a penchant for the ponderous and prolix...I would never use such language tricks!!

BTW: Completely agree. It's cute for about 5 minutes, and then...not so much.

Using two devices to interact with a TV doesn't sound like simplifying anything to me. Having to find a ring to put on whenever I watch TV doesn't sound appealing to me either. This doesn't sound like something that Apple would do.
