You act like I've not touched/seen the thing... My friends are all technophiles with too much money (one even has Google glass, oh my!)... And I have put my hands on most of the current batch of watches. Apple will undoubtedly be better than those, that's my first hand impression. Is that good enough for everyone's needs? Probably not. That's why we have a diversity of offer.

Also, there's plenty of bad reviews about the Moto 360... Sure you know how to Google them since you were so keen on telling me about Amazon.

Alright. I was not acting like you have not seen it. You read too much into my post. You replied to my comment in which I used reviews as an argument in response to another poster. The original argument by said poster was that the Moto 360 has "crippling" flaws that would deem it as a bad product. I simply said that a product with "crippling" flaws --- that is flaws so bad that no one in their right mind should want the device --- would not receive generally favorable reviews on Amazon, Best Buy, and most tech sites.

I agree with you; everyone's different. That's why we have more than one flavor of ice cream :)

Simply amazing... Everyone on MR has been bitching about the mac mini, trying to pretend as though its a horrible machine and the 2012 is better.

Then these stats come along showing the new 2014 machines to be the best sellers and the haters start claiming that there would be even more sales if the 2012 (three years old technology) minis were kept on the market.

There's a reason Apple is on top, and its probably because they don't pay a lot of attention to nerds who like to fiddle with their computers. Most people don't like doing that, and most people don't run handbrake 10 hours a day.

Maybe this is a crazy idea but I seriously think Apple should combine iPhone and iPad sales and just report total iOS device sales. Lines are blurred now between the larger iPhone and iPad mini. So why separate and force Tim Cook to spend a good chunk of the investor call defending iPad.
