It's a sad world we live in when extensive emoji research is being done. It seems quite superficial compared to things such as climate change etc.
Well, now that we got that out of the way… How about we research something like cancer?

Even my dad uses emoji, and he's a 72 year old with piles of books and a love for classical music.as with everything else Apple, this place gives a very skewed idea of reality..

What are included in the emoji set are defined by an international body (not Apple), Apple is just implementing them...just like Google does for their releases of Android etc.. Since it's Apple and we get updated versions of iOS it just means we get the latest before most folks in Androidville.
