OK, the Galaxy S2 is a fine phone, but "Galaxy S2 Skyrocket" has got to be one of the stupidest names ever - it sounds ridiculous!

And "4S" was what? The 4 referring to the 4th generation, and the S for speed, maybe? I thought the 4th generation was the iPhone 4. That makes a lot of sense too.

Ya, agree with the post above. A largely useless phone IMO.

Totally meaningless. Steve will kill Android.

He's left a clear war plan behind for Apple to implement.

With a war chest of unlimited cash, resources & the finest Lawyers, Android will never survive being nuked by Apple.

The 4S was NOT exactly a weapon of mass destruction!

You need to check the sales numbers for Android and Apple.

The numbers are not "totally meaningless":p

Yea the battery could be a huge issue, especially on a small LTE market and fighting for a signal. Backwards compatible, but effectively? I think the most interesting part is the supposed super amoled plus screen on 4.5", I'll be jealous if this thing lasts more than a few hours before dying.

Why post stuff like this here?

Exactly. I've notice that you rarely see iPhone users talking down on other devices. If you go on a Blackberry or Android forums, A LOT of people talk down on the iPhone, but on MacRumors, you don't see a majority of people talking negatively about devices.

I guess we don't have to since we have the best. :) Lol.

Even Apple can't stay on top forever. Their cash and human resources are definitely a huge advantage but only continuing their exquisite design and marketing philosophy (and a good amount of luck) will *keep* them on top.

Heck, they could do everything right and still fail, sometimes people just move on.

To sum it up:

Go on a Blackberry or Android forum and talk about something iPhone related, I'm willing to bet you the first 5 or 10 posts are going to be something negative about it.

Come on MacRumors, post something about a new non-Apple device:

Chances are the responses won't be negative.

Get it?

yeah yeah, I knew what you were saying, I just couldn't believe I was reading it. I'll let you hold that opinion. ;)

Well I don't believe that. I only see positives when android is mentioned. I just think posting about a new Android phone is pointless as it will garner the same debate each time.
