Duff-Man says....I just opened up a Hacker-Pschorr "Edelhell" .....(please don't tell the Duff Corporation...).....oh yeah!

duffman, how could you? duff brewing co. provides your livelihood! but don't worry, I won't tell...

but speaking of duff, I'm surprised no one has ever put out a duff brand beer before. you know simpson's fans would buy it (at least once anyway - more if it's actually good)!

maybe someone has done it...I've never seen it though...

Not drinking anything at the moment, but if I could, a nice cold Brooklyn Lager. Based in, you guessed it, New York, and unfortunately is a regional thing. Not too heavy, and a nice aromatic aftertaste.

Dogfish Head IPA is nice too, as is Bareknuckle Stout.

Various Belgian beers though... bliss :D

ah, I like bareknuckle stout...it's been a while since I've ahd that.

damn CT's stupid "no alcohol on sundays" law, or else I might go and pick some up for afeter I go mtn biking (gotta work off those beer calories, y'know?)!!!

Had a few Sierra Nevada Pale Ales last night along with a couple of Madhatters. Might have a few more Sierras tonight. So long as I am a good boy and work out 6 days a week, I give myself the green light on brews...

Just tried the Yuengling (pronounced Ying-Ling) last week. Sort of like Killian's Red meets Amber Bach. Plus it's the oldest brewery in America. Try some if you haven't yet, it's my new favorite.

It is funny how Yuengling is becoming very popular around the country. Here, in Philly, it has been THE beer for a VERY long time. It is simply known as "Lager".

Kick back a few Lagers for me.

Today I shall mostly be drinking Kronenberg 1664 or failing that the good old wife beater (Stella) before watching my Football team in Leicester. Classy it aint but I just can't watch a Footy game without drinking and I hate beer which is Ale over this side of the Atlantic.

Right now, it's 5pm West Coast time, I am having a Henry Weinhard's Blue Boar. The weather was supposed to cool off a little but it was still bloody hot and driving w/o AC was not the best in the world.

Tomorrow i will be having Mikes Hard Lemonade and Bacardi 151 along with Parrots Bay to wash down the 151.

what can i say i do this like once a month :/

I'm a ***** when it comes to beer. I really hate the stuff. Instead I gravitate to those wonderfully eccentric Smirnoff Malted Flavored drinks.

I think I'll go get me a Watermellon one now. ;)
Guys don't drink beer cause we necessarily enjoy it. We drink it cause we have too :). You better start practicing, if your ever out with a girl and you order a Smirnoff Breezer you might as well end the date right then.

But I will admit that you can't even taste the liquor in those and enough of them and you'll be drunk in no time.

Too true, I had my first beer at 14yrs old and hated it but as I got older I began to appreciate it's after effects (over confidence, Ooh yeah she's cute(not!)) and I can honestly say that over here Smirnoff/Bicardi Breezer is a girly drink and I would be slaughtered by my friends if I dared to walk around a Pub/Nightclub with one of those in my hand and also we drink pints (20 fl oz).

I'm drinking beer I made myself. Not very good, but my wife makes me drink it because I spent all that money to buy the equipment. Oh well. Whatever does the trick.

Well, it's 2:18 pm here in New Zealand, but I am on break from school, so I find myself drinking Export Gold.

im drinking Gatorade right now, but going to bed soon so i guess i just wasn't in the alcoholic mood tonight.

tonight I had a Corono and a Fat Tire, along with 2 margarita, and a vodka on the rocks. Spread out over a few hours at a closing party for a the startup that didnt start (Where I worked) WOO HOO :D :p :) I have way more job ops now then when I did when I was commited there, I love how things work out!
Sometimes loosing a job can be the best dang thing to ever happen to someone!

at the moment moment my favourite is the austrian cheapo brand "Pittinger" for 0.35 € per 0.5 liters it really tastes ok

for tastes i normally go straight for the original Budweiser (the one from Budweis/Budvar) or Wieselburger (the bottles with the metal thing only)

I don't drink anymore but when I did I had three standards:

Good quality, clean tequila or mezcal (Patron, Hornitos) with a slice of lime as a chaser.

Good quality whisky straight on the rocks (no sugary, headache inducing mixers or soda's which is an abomination to mix with good double or single malt).

For beers, a good micro-brewed ale or lager from local breweries here in Santa Cruz like Lighthouse Amber or Redwood Stout.

No factory made domestic crap here thank you.

I'm not drinking any beers right now.

But I did see a funny beer commercial. :)

Carlton Draught

Click yes. I know it's a drag, but you'll be treated to a funny commercial ala LOTR style. :D

Not that I'm drinking at the moment, being in work, but my beers of choice are:

At home:
710ml bottles of Beck's
or
Black Sheep
or
Fuller's Honey Dew

Out in Newport:
Samuel Smith's Old Brewery Bitter
or
Newcastle Brown

Out in Bristol:
Samuel Smith's Sovereign Bitter
or
Butcombe Bitter

looking for the drunk thread (wastelanded a long long time ago), but instead stumbled over here. . . im drinking vodka on the rocks. thats my drink. if 007 has the martini shaken, not stirred, then i am 0042 and have the vodka rocks and NO LIME damnit!!!! i already put ice in the vodka what more do you want me to do to try to dilute the vodka!!!

I've got 40 bottles of Budweiser sitting in the fridge right now, and I guarentee they'll never be opened. That stuff tastes like wood. Ick.

Last night I had 4 pints of Samuel Adams Oktoberfest. Good stuff. So yummy.
