You have infuriated friends and family over what, a phone? SMH. Update to IOS 8 using iTunes, no issue.

Over following the rumors of a 32gb base model and them needing more than 16gb.

That's what people get for following the rumor mill.

I even had a co-worker disappointed because it didn't have a built in solar charger. LOL

I've been able to get away with 16GB for a while, minimal problems. Only problem I had was the iOS8 bug that took up my storage space.

I just make sure I have a couple GB or so of music, which is plenty to cycle through, and not go more than a month or so to back up my photos.

I think Apple should keep a 16GB model for entry level buyers.

I now want to be able to store more photos/videos/data for my iPhone 6, so I chose to go 64GB, but there's nothing wrong with having a choice of an entry level model at 16GB.

That's apple having a laugh at you guys' expense.

No phone with 16GB in 2014 has no expandable storage. If the phone has no SD card, then the minimum is 32GB.

Add the slow mo, better cameras, full HD videos, and your iPhone will fill up very quickly.

The 16GB needs to die. Only apple can get away with selling you an iPhone 6 16GB with no SD card and an 8MP camera for $750. It is unbelievable.

What about the folks that do just their iPhone as (gasp).... A mobile phone?

There are clearly lots, I know lots that literally just use it as a phone & text machine, they take the odd photo, but that's about it.

Not everybody wants to use the latest camera apps and record video in HD etc, so a 16 gig iPhone makes perfect sense for them.

Then it is crazy to spend that much money on a flagship phone just to browse and check your email.

It is in your opinion, but the are lots of buyers of 16 gig devices that clearly disagree with you and I'll bet my bottom $/£ that Apple have access to far better buying statistics than you or anyone else that's guessing and plucking figures out of thin air here at MR.

I don’t understand why some people feel like they know what’s best for others. I have been completely content with my 16GB iPhones. I currently have a i5 with 1,400 pictures from work this summer, ~250 songs (these get switched up every so often, but I usually stream), and 41 apps. Granted these aren’t huge gaming apps, mostly just apps such as eBay, banking, and utility apps. I still have 3.9GB available. I guess I don’t see the need of buying the next model up. For me, that’s just buying space I won’t use and spending another $100 I will only see a fraction of on resale down the road. To each his own.
